Welcome to Schadenfreude Studios! We're looking for a few good toons to become STARS. But if you want to make it, you've got to show you have the spirit to become the best. Take out the competition, by any means necessary. ...BUT if you're not sneaky enough to keep the rest of them from figuring it out, you're going to get CUT too!

Rules *SOME RULES ADDED FOR CLARIFICATION, PLEASE READ*

RULES:

All Trouble Cube and Murdergames Forum rules apply, please make sure you are familiar with them.

This is a Free-For-All style murdergame – any character may kill. No special roles. There will be Day and Night phases, but keep in mind that kills can still happen in the daytime, it's just that it doesn't give you cover of darkness (During Night Phase, there will be no visibility or interaction unless you're literally in the same location; no player posts in the game thread during Night Phase).

Day Phases and Night Phases will each last approximately 48 hours.

All actions during Night Phase must be PM'd. Please CC both hosts on your PM.

Do not reveal the contents of any PMs from the hosts unless explicitly allowed.

The success of actions will be decided by a D10 roll. A 1 is utter failure; 10 is the action worked far too well.

Make sure to preface actions with >. This calls the hosts' attention to them; actions not prefaced this way may get lost.

As in the Murder U games, if you don't get voted off after two night phases have passed since your kill was revealed, you will be allowed to leave… a STAR! Otherwise, you WILL stay on the studio campus (Consult the Studio Map). Game will go on until three entrants are left not dead.

All forms of animation accepted. If you ABSOLUTELY MUST enter a non animated character, please run it by us (PointMaid and Cutbug) first.  Game will take 16 entrants. Sign-ups will close at 2:00pm ET, Sunday April 4.

Maybe this goes without saying, but… yes, your character can die. Killing characters are encouraged to be appropriate to the genre in the manner of their kills. You want to impress Lotta and Bitta, don't you?

You find yourself in front of a large sound stage and some office buildings. They've got a sign that says "Schadenfreude Studios". You're handed a map to the studio campus.

Two women, clearly 'toons, come out to greet you.

Glad you could come! This is going to be FUN!

Confused over what's going on, and after confirming her Teigu (Imperial Arms) is still intact, Leone decides that the first thing she should do is look at the Cafeteria and Kitchen.

Feel free to explore, [the ‘toon with the poofy hair says upon seeing Leone beginning to scout the area.] You're gonna be here for a long while, so look around the place and get nice and comfy!

[Huney]

"Ahhhh, shit..."

Rosie sighs.

"Here we go again..."

Hey there. So... what's up? Are you the people in charge here?

The person saying these words is a teeenage Mongoose, dressed in some sort of school uniform.

Yeah! You all are answering our call for STARS, right? Right time, right place? So you know that we want to see that you're willing to do what it takes?

I'm Lotta, the 'toon with the straighter hair said, and that's my sister Bitta. Feel free to ask us any questions you have!

[Dookie]

“Hmmmm...what type of food are you serving?”

It's a dog with an eyepatch.

[Huney]

"I dunno, call this a shot in the dark..."

Rosie gets up, scratching at her ear.

"Kill each other and get away with it, something on that lines?"

A young girl, dressed in winter clothing and a pink beret, takes a look at the map that is handed to her.

"Well, this could be fun!"

...and yes, she meant the whole potentially-killing-people thing too. After all, you shouldn't fuck with Wendy Testaburger.

[PointMaid]

...I think it's barbecue day at the studio cafeteria. I'd have to check, though.

And, she turns to Rosie, Yes! You are one perceptive Raccoon!

Leone, who was too far away to hear what was going on (on account of being at the Cafeteria at the time), she saw what was being served that day and said: "Sweet! I'm gettin' me some ribs!" And proceeds to do so.

[Huney]

"I'm one experienced raccoon, actually! Been around this bend a few times."

She turns to the mongoose fella, putting out a paw.

"Rosalia Berengaria. But you can call me Rosie."

[Florien]

A short, rotund man, entirely in black and white with no shades of grey, arrives, holding a whiskey sour. (only recognizable as such because of a floating arrow pointing to it reading "whiskey sour".) 

I'm here to escape Nagging Wives and provide a good education to Today's No-Good Teens so as to make them True Americans, and I've already done the first one. So You Sickos had better have Whiskey Sours, because I'm going to need it to get through dealing with this Latest Fad, even as I debase myself to participate in it.

As he speaks, the capitalized phrases form into text and arrows around him, which break apart after a few seconds of indicating whatever they're pointing to. When he says "Latest Fad", however, that pops up in a narration box instead.

You Sicko Hollywood Hippies and your Evil Baristas are no doubt glad to see me use the tools of Talentless Hacks. But I do this for the Greater Good of our Noble Country.

Lotta cackles. It's up to you. And to him, I suppose. I think you'll find we're perfectly Hollywood... we just want what will sell.

"I'm Wendy Testaburger," says the young girl, "from South Park, Colorado. I'm not really surprised I was picked for this, since I've got quite a few trophies and stuff from school."

She still sounded decidedly unbothered about the whole "killing game" aspect.  If somebody crossed her, she wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty.

She then glanced at the strange black-and-white man. However he was doing that, it was certainly... interesting. She also vaguely wondered what her school principal would think of his wanting to educate students to become True Americans. She vocalized neither of these, and just smiled a (probably deceptively) sweet smile.

A disheveled looking pelican makes his entrance. He was staggering around while holding a bottle of vodka with one wing.

"Good morning..."

He takes a swig from his vodka bottle.

"My name is Optimus Prime. I heard I was supposed to be a stunt truck for a new film? I seem to have signed up for the wrong thing." He had a double take at the killing game aspect. "You two are joking, right?"

[Bitta absentmindedly swats her hand at the “Sicko Hollywood Hippies” arrow.]

[Dookie]

“Can I drive you-“

The Pelican clutches his head while whispering profanities to himself.

"...Sorry, hangover. That's why I was running late. Anyway, I heard that I was gonna be getting a big role in a new cartoon. Paddy the Pelican, nice to meet ya."

At that moment, Leone senses something amiss and leaves after finishing her plate of ribs, heading back to see WOAH MY GOD, A GIANT ROBOT?!?!?! Leone was surprised beyond belief.
