"Yay, we did it, Babe!" Bunyan picked up Babe and hugged him as she spinned in celebration. They did pretty good at the golf course after all.
She then wandered somewhere else and stumbled upon a museum. Bunyan and Babe enter the museum, curious to see what it's about.

Summer and Cherry's Golf Adventure, presented on the Discovery Channel

Summer and Cherry have earned 7+3 on the first hole for strength and dexterity; 6+2 on the second hole for, again, strength and dexterity; and a 1 on the third hole. This leaves them with 19 points.

Summer's not just strong, she knows how to use that strength and temper it; her swing launches the ball right over the river and into the hole.

Hitting up into the redwood is a bit trickier. She is strong and knows how to use a baseball bat, but that's a very tall tree, and it's straight up. It doesn't take long before she hits it out of the park, though... oh, wait, hits into the hole.

Unfortunately, Cherry's attempt at the windmill obstacle hole doesn't go as well. The golf ball gets more singed than propelled by her lightning. Eventually she gets so frustrated that she completely incinerates the ball. Is that counted as finishing the hole? Eh, Ed's not going to argue about that.

Well, it looks like that area is where people have disappeared. It claims that it's been known in the area for as long as there have been people, but there's nothing to back that up - probably a few decades, at best.

You find the cryptids exhibit, the memorial to missing people, an exhibit on the founders of the town, and Zee and Gooble trying to read about the Anomaly.

Catar had trailed along with the grou- oh god dammit she's eyeing the stores. She's eyeing the stores and looking for anything of value she can resell back at her brother's shop.

She quickly snaps herself out of it and looks towards the museum instead- perhaps that will quench her thirst for work. So she heads inside, going for the cryptids exhibit.

"Yeah! Who are you? There's all sort of... interesting people here!"

(I'm assuming this is also directed towards Victoria since she's also in the scene).

“Oh. Well…uh…I'm Victoria Walson, you might know my family for being big in resorts and stuff, blah blah blah, you probably don't care because you're a shapeshifting blob and you're way more interesting.”

Gooble turns towards Victoria.

"Hi, Victoria! I'm Gooble! This is probably the weirdest group of guests ever! I've seen a very tall girl, a lady pterodactyl... thing, and a lady that could change her shape! But you're still interesting to me!"

Gooble then ponders.

"Apparently people have disappeared here. I guess the place is more mysterious than it seems. Mom and dad brought me here while they're studying and monitoring this place. I guess that's why they're here, to find out if there's something weird about this place. Not sure if it's real, though."

Jake returns to the museum, bringing out his sketchpad and pencil so he can try to record what everything is in there.
Where did these oddities come from, by any chance? You sure the Ed guy didn't... say... make these up for money? I'm sure someone has done that before.

Bootleg Golf

1. "Hmm, seems easy enough, but..." The Bootlegger hits the ball as hard as she can, trying to get it across the river.

2. "Huh, that's pretty high up... how to get it up the- ah!" The Bootlegger gets out a bottle of Conke and a Mentos-like candy called "mintis", attaches the ball to the bottle, and sets it up to drop the mintis down into the bottle... aimed slightly sideways so it will (hopefully) hit the tree's crown. Then, she runs away to avoid getting hit!

3. "Ah, this seems tricky..." She closely examines the obstacles, and thinks of the best way and angle to shoot so the ball bounces off the obstacles at the right moment - and then just goes for it

[color=#aaaaaa]“But I asked around the town, either everyone here's lying or there really is some weird shit going on. People have gone missing! They were talking about it on the news! I think something is going on here, even if Mr. Ed isn't the most trustworthy source.”

You get it across, but feel slightly winded. At least you made the shot. (Rolled 7 -1 for lack of athleticism for a total of 6 points.)

You have to adjust the angle a few times but you do end up getting the (rather drenched with soda) ball up to the top. (Rolled 4 +1 for quick thinking, +1 for creativity and +1 for using your bootleg merch for a total of 7)

You do some quick calculations and ricochet the shot through the obstacles, then tap it in. Well done! (Rolled 6 +1 for quick thinking for a total of 7)

The Bootlegger has scored 20 points.

“Perhaps we should pay a visit to the Anomaly itself,” they say, pointing at a spot a little distance away from the camp.”

"An anomaly, huh? I bet it's some just magical thing that can be easily explained with common sense! But it does sound interesting..."

Mindy hears the talk with the group interested in the anomaly.

Yeah, I guess we can check it out. There's gotta be somethin' interesting there. But let's be careful though. Kinda got a bad feelin' about that place, ya know?

Mindy puts on the brave face, ready to protect the group should anything happen.
