. . .yeah, fair enough.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure myself. Haven't paid enough attention to uh. everything here to make any judgement just yet. I'll most likely just go with the flow, really.
As for the role debacle, I uh. meant Bus Driver, yes.

Bus Driver? Did you use your ability last night?

You've made a habit of drawing claims out of people, Florien. It worries me somewhat because if too many people claim, it's guaranteed a goodie will be made to claim. And in a format like this, they're likely to have a powerful role the baddies' attention will be drawn to immediately.

I did, yeah. Prolly didn't have that much of an effect, though.

Who did you switch, just to be clear?

It's nowhere near the first thing I'd have thought of from your alias.

I always draw people's roles out so I can understand how everything will interact. Anyway the sheer fact we've got a bus driver who can presumably swap themselves with other people gives us a massive advantage, assuming the claim is true. Everything becomes chaos with a driver around, because the scum will never know who's actually who.

Anyway we now better understand how the situations will interact.

In fact, ideally everyone will roleclaim right now and we can easily win right away, because I think it'll be pretty obvious who's lying. You can trust me I'm very trustworthy and you should do what I say.

Oh and once lav tells us how their role works we need to figure out how to optimize that.

Either way, not executing puts us in an objectively worse situation than executing. The probabilities add up very clearly.

Either we take someone out, or we miss. In which case we're 3/5 or 2/6 the next day. Or we do nothing and we're 3/6 next day and likely have no new information, which translates to 3/5 the next night assuming this holds. No one even has the barest hint of an investigatory role, so we'll have no information by my guess. There's 10 of us. That's a roughly 30% chance of going to 2/6 assuming we pick randomly, in which case the expected value is around 2.7/5.3, which is a little worse than 3/6, but that's not the point, because of two reasons.

A.) We're not picking randomly.
B.) Considering what is on the table, we are unlikely to have any rolecop type roles out there. (If we do, then the bus driver can protect them by swapping them with an undisclosed individual so they can feel safe to claim because they only need to follow my orders tonight anyway, doesn't matter if they last one more night thereafter.) Therefore a 3/6 will have equivalent information to a 3/7, so there's quite literally no reason not to execute.

Put these together and the expected value calculations are meaningless because we have no rolecop types. There is no choice BUT to execute, unless a rolecop would like to step forwards and submit to my plan.

Sorry for being absent, but I, like Geek, also forgot this game existed and am just now posting this.

For suspicions, I currently have no real suspicions big enough to act on for sure. I do have some based on the history that some people have in certain murdergames, but those are too unreliable to act on.

And as for my role... Nebula was actually rpetty close to the truth... It doesn't quite work exactly like the role they said exactly, but it is close in design. In particular, the "one-shot" part is of particular importance. Regardless, you can be confident in me saying that I am in the side of Good.
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...

I agree that it's unlikely that one of the evil people is a third party. I was just throwing it out there.
There's a chance that Matthew's genuinely a Miller, but I think it'd come with some sort of perk(s) that he's hiding. It'd be even more suspicious to claim Miller after someone claimed to get a guilty result for him, and I'd definitely put at least a policy vote on him then. But since no-one claims a guilty result on him yet, the main issue (an investigative role reveals themselves to get an innocent eliminated) disappears, and the new problem becomes that a guilty result on him can't necessarily be trusted. Though statistically speaking, a guilty result is more likely to be scum unless the investigator is Insane or Paranoid, or there's loads of Millers.

On the subject of Millers: If anyone else wants to claim "I'm good but investigative roles think I'm evil" is part of their role, I'm giving you until this time tomorrow to speak up. You don't have to make a full claim, just let us know anyone investigating you should expect a "guilty" result.

Another thing for Whistle: You mentioned that you can PM your godchild. Can your godchild send a reply to you?

Smily: Your claim seems believable to me, but it'd be risky to trust it when the fate of the game is on the line. Does your ability trigger in other ELo scenarios (e.g. 3v2)?

Before I commit to a vote, I'd like to hear what Despair's Archon of Memes and artsyGeek have to say, if anything. I'd also like to know if Lavender and TheOtherCG have anything to add.

Neb, that's actually a good question, one I'd like to answer were it not for the fact that I can only give a vague answer at best due to the limited knowledge I have. Would that be satisfactory?

Oh wow that's a lot of stuff to mentally process first thing in the morning.

Florien, as usual, is being very confusing. I'm not sure how telling it is because Florien is always confusing and has done stuff like this both when inno (like in The Murder Challenge) and scum (like in CC2). So I hope people will understand if I don't immediately put my trust in them just because this strategy worked in Witch Trip; it almost worked in CC2 on the other side if not for bus driver shenanigans. I'd say we could go along this time and see how whoever Florien leads us to ends up flipping, but if their target flips green it doesn't tell much as they've mislimmed/almost mislimmed innos before both as scum and as town, especially on the first day. If their target flips red then that's potentially more telling (though they did throw a scummate under the bus in CC2 so even that isn't certain.) But either they're trying to be helpful or they're being extremely devious especially with asking for a mass roleclaim. Either way, can't argue they're not good at the game.

Matthew also has a similar history of acting similarly whatever side he's on. He gets pretty defensive when mis-accused as inno as we know from YFF3. He also has a tendency to try to start bandwagons which is a thing I thought seemed potentially sus but, again, YFF3 shows he does this when inno too.

Whistle seems like she's got a savior/guardian angel type role which does work well with her Godmother nickname. So that much tracks, at least. (Unless she's got a Mafia Don role and is deceiving us. Godmother, Godfather... yeah.) But definitely going to give the benefit of the doubt for now even with the bandwagon jumping after the joke vote. (That and she'd had an actual reason for her vote that wasn't a meme.) Anyway I'd say she's clean.

I agree that voting a Kamikaze may be a bad idea based on the types of roles a name like that could have led to.

Nebula doesn't seem to be acting sussy aside from the meme vote but I'm not sure she expected people to jump on that. (Or it could've been a way to see who would jump on it for all I know.)

Most other people haven't posted enough to give me much information yet, even with their roleclaims. This doesn't seem to be the type of setup that uses the clearly defined roles but might have abilities similar to them; for example Matt's claim reminds me a bit of Point's in Witch Trip, might be more of a warning "hey if you have an investigation skill use it on someone else so you get an accurate result" pre-emptively? I dunno.

I'll wait to see more posts from everyone before I decide. (...though silence could also be telling, hmm.)

Well, I've had a chance to give my role a deeper analysis and as it turns out, it only works if only THREE people are alive. Doesn't matter which three they are, all that matters is that there has to be THREE people left for it to work. So, a 2v1 then.

That whole thing about the "Light blinding us", don't look too deeply into that. Nebula felt like playing the name game, making something out of my name with song lyrics. I thought I'd do the same. There's not really any "breadcrumbing" as you claim. Not everything has such deep meanings, you know

You have a point there. I only did it with Nebula, yes. But when I first got there and saw all those votes mounting on me, I panicked and just acted on defense. After Neb explained some things, I started to calm down and focus more. Though I am trying to think of other ideas.

You don't have to worry about me—I'm honest about my role here.

I don't really have much more to say here.

Kennifer: At the time, I didn't expect it. I felt like I should've afterwards, though.
One the subject of Bus Drivers, even if artsy is telling the truth about being a Bus Driver, that doesn't clear her.

artsyGeek: I'll give you the benefit of the doubt if you tell us who you swapped in your next post. It might be useful in case e.g. someone decided to investigate one of your targets.

Whistle: Can your godchild PM you back, or is it one-way?

Frankly, I don't have anything to add. Mainly because I was asleep for all of this and keep forgetting that I'm in this game lmao. Also, I'm confused about something. Are we supposed to roleplay or is this Among Us: Forum Edition?

To CG: Among Us forum edition.
Also, I am a killing role where if I target someone and they are attacked, I can kill their attacker.

CG: Yeah, basically what Lav said. Mafia is Among Us, Murderverse is Among Us + Roleplay.

Ah I see.
Well, my role is a passive one. Like I can't do any actions and I get a PM from the GM about what my role did on a night phase.

Can you provide an update occasionally about how the voting looks?

Anyway...

Lavender: So a Bodyguard that counterattacks? Makes a decent amount of sense, but I have a question. Can you explain how you could PM Florien?

CG: So you're either a reflexive role, or you have pre-determined actions that the host's hiding from you until you use them. Did you get a PM last night?

They could PM me because there's no rule that explicitly says they can't.

Same with the godchild PMs. It's not like a mason chat.

OK, thank you. I just assumed you couldn't PM people unless you had an ability which explicitly lets you do so (e.g. Lover, Neighbour, scum partner) as usual, and missed the special rule at the start of the day saying you could provided you mentioned it in public.
