[Fin] Murder U Too - Endgame
“Me will give you one thing, me does have the strength to snap a neck, even though me heart is too big. But small fuzzy creature? Me suspicious of you now.”
why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food
"I think we shouldn't play the blame game willy-nilly. That... doesn't end well."

Alexis sighs, consulting her notes for a moment.

"Okay, the markings on Doug's neck looked more like gloves to me. Maybe we should look for some?"
Stupid doomed timeline...
“Ok.”

> Look for gloves

Wow. I never said the stupid fox thing went around killing people yet, I merely said it went around trying to kill me and presumably also Kai. Read between the lines, or at least read the lines in general! Now, if you think that anyone here doesn't have murder in their heart and mind, you are deluded. Adventurer may be a way your mind can be, but murder is universal. I do not believe that FOX THING killed this individual. Merely that it attempted to kill me or Kai.

Kellensea is absolutely furious.

I'm the competent one here! I KNOW WHO TO WATCH OUT FOR, AND IT'S EVERYONE! I haven't even killed anyone yet, and yet, because I refuse to believe in this bullshit of "people not wanting to murder", suddenly I'M the suspicious one? Your desires to silence me lay bare that you know I speak truth.

>Investigate the handprint, the fiber, etc., closely for evidence implying it's not the cookie monster. [Kellensea, 6]
Kellensea searches Doug's room thoroughly for evidence that someone other than Cookie Monster could have committed this murder. Despite the thoroughness of her search, she can't find any trace or footprints that could be tied to someone other than Cookie Monster.
nya
> Look for gloves [Cookie Monster, 2]
Cookie Monster searches through Doug's room for discarded gloves, but can't find any.
nya
>Is anyone already *wearing* gloves?
Stupid doomed timeline...
Bow decides to...

>compare front paws to the markings on Doug's neck just in case
>Is anyone already *wearing* gloves? [Alexis]
Well, everyone? Who is and isn't already wearing gloves?

>compare front paws to the markings on Doug's neck just in case [Bow]
Bow's paws are way smaller than the markings on Doug's neck.
nya
Alexis is not wearing gloves.
Stupid doomed timeline...
You see? I couldn't probably even snap a neck if I wanted to!
"If I can say, she's being suspicious, but not in the way she probably wants..." Komaru raises her hand. "This entire time, we've been ignoring Kai. Should we be investigating him at all? What if they're working together and she's trying to get executed so he can get out? I don't know why she'd do that, but..."
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Uh... gauntlets, do those count? They might. Oh, but it couldn't have been me, I would have left ring marks. The rings don't come off. They used to, but now they don't.

Indeed, there are several rings of varying metal with gemstones and no stones alike on her gauntlets. She takes off the metal part, and there's more over her gloves under them, and the gloves have suspicious lumps which presumably are also rings on her actual fingers. Such an arrangement of wearing almost twenty total rings on each hand should be causing a great deal of pain, but Kellensea seems fine with it.

>Having heard rumors of a knife in the bathroom earlier, Kellensea goes to investigate that.
I am the They who says it!
Cookie Monster puts his hands up to show that, he is in fact, not wearing gloves.
why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food
Ranma's gloveless. "Well he hasn't said anything this whole time. It would be best to look at him now." He's just going to ignore Kellensea, cause frankly she's annoying and brash, and all out stupid considering all her moment of throwing the blame around to furry people. "Besides, if our idea of them working together is right, then he's probably the one to kill the guy. Because she. . ." He gestures to Kellensea. "Doesn't exactly seem like the type to get her own hands dirty, requiring someone else to do it for her."
"She seems capable to me! What I don't get is why she's trying to make herself a target like this. What would make her so willing to give herself up?"
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Monika holds up her gloveless hands as well.
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...
"Yeah...  And wasn't Kai already in the room when we got here? Looking under the bed... If nothing else, we should get his side of the story and find out what he knows."

Alexis checks her notes from earlier just to be sure. Yep.
Stupid doomed timeline...
>Having heard rumors of a knife in the bathroom earlier, Kellensea goes to investigate that. [Kellensea, 4]
There is indeed a knife in the bathroom, next to a knocked-over trash can, in a pile of scattered paper towels and stuff that was also in the can before it got knocked over. Mr. Krabs is there, holding a paper towel over his claw. Looks like he accidentally cut himself.

"In probably a normal situation, maybe. But here, if you were planning on killing someone, would you do it yourself or have someone kill for you? I'm just throwing this out here, especially with how she keeps going from accusations to accusations." Ranma said, theorizing. "Why she would put herself at risk of being killed, maybe she didn't think that far ahead? She's demonstrated that feat, with how she goes from Cookie Monster to being guilty, to a small woodland animal."

>Continue investigating for anything they could've missed.
"But... wait, who goes free in that situation? I would think only the killer is let go."
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Huh. A crabfolk person. Haven't seen one of those in a while. Anyway...

>Stare aggressively at the knife, and consider its provenance and route which it took to travel here.

Then, once that's done, Kellensea puts a stolen sticky note from the office on the knife saying "Claimed by Kellensea Today, Witness, one crab person". Then she goes off to the kitchen area to

>see if the knife got stolen from there.
I am the They who says it!
Ranma gives a shrug. "Like I said, probably didn't think that far ahead. Either that, or possibly betray to person they were working with once they got what they wanted." He threw out there that idea. Kellensea did immediately want to loot Doug's dead corpse once they got here. If someone else killed him, she could get his stuff while the killer most likely dies.
Yeah so I only just now remembered I should be writing about Host2 in first-person, given his origins as seen in this thread's first post. Time to edit :p
I materialize in response to Komaru's question. I'm surprised you don't know that, given your background. If one kills on the orders of another, only the one who actually performed the killing is considered a murderer. Only they are guilty, and only they can leave if undetected.

>Continue investigating for anything they could've missed. [Ranma, 7]
Ranma decides to follow Kellensea into the bathroom. Yep, there's a knife on the floor, and Krabs tending his wounds.

... Is that toilet backing up?

>see if the knife got stolen from the kitchen [Kellensea, 6]
She rifles through the kitchen cabinets... and whaddaya know, there's a conspicuously-empty spot in a knife block there.
nya
This situation is ideal enough... Hm.

>Kellensea investigates around the knife block in the cabinet to see who got to the knives before she did, more than a little jealous.
