So it looks like it was the candle holder that matches the bruises...
I like bananas. They're yellow.
Huh. Maybe someone has candlewax burns. Or fingerprints in wax or soot.

The Lemmings stop laughing. They point at Henka's body.

“TABODI WHAT? TABODI WHAT? ARE YOU TRYING TO EXPLAIN YOUR LITTLE JOKE? YOU TRYING TO EXPLAIN WHY A CHILD DYIN GIS THE PEAK OF COMEDY? FINE. YOU CAN GET AWAY THIS TIME, BUT NOT EVER AGAIN.”

She lets them go.

“FEAR ME!”

“Alright guys, so what have we found?”

The Lemmings all go silent, and

Hiiii!
Guys, I found what caused the bruise. It was the candle holder.

"Oh, Tabodi!" said the Lemmings, hearing that declaration
Hiiii!

"A candlestick holder seems hardly appropriate for a pool... Where would you even get such a thing at a hotel?"

Socrates is here to use his namesake's method.
"A candle holder? Well, anyone coulda used that, right?"
"I mean, candle holders are decorative objects," Hitomi says, "in principle they could be just about anywhere in a hotel. ... Not the pool, but anywhere else."

Kazuichi retrieves his pamphlet from his pocket and reads over it again, re-familiarising himself with all of the roles. As he's rereading the evil roles, something clicks in his mind. He arrives at an important revelation. (Well, he hopes it's important, anyway.)

"Guys? Guys! I think I figured it out!"

He takes a deep breath, then begins to explain his theory. (No, it's not a game theory.)

"Tonya was bombed, right? And her body was found near the Lemmings' room, right? Well, I think she was struck by the bomber! The bomber strikes when their victim is visiting someone. Tonya was the Psychic, and 'cause she was found near the Lemmings' room, then that's gotta mean that she was sus of them and visited them to see their role! But she was killed because the bomber planted a bomb in the Lemmings' room! So... maybe this is kind of a stretch, but... if the bomber planted that bomb in the Lemmings' room... does that mean they were trying to protect them? Because of it does–" Kazuichi points accusingly at the Lemmings "–then that means they're the bad guys!"

...wait, okay, that sounded way better in his head. Is he on the right track...? Or is this going to backfire horribly?
". .d. .do you mean. .the Lemmings. .might be evil. .? Because that. .is a theory alright.  . .is that why they laughed at that fairy's death. .?"

[. .alright, time to actually be useful for once. > Any evidence against the less humanoid members of the cast?]

The Lemmings, after being accused, collectively gasp, and speaks angrily.
"Gasp... Tabodi!"
Hiiii!
Kazuichi frowns. The Lemmings' limited means of communication is going to make this... difficult. Especially since he's not exactly great at reading body language. That being said, he can clearly tell that the little critters aren't very happy about being accused.

"Listen, is there anythin' you can do that can help prove your innocence? 'Cause I'm willin' to concede if there's a good reason to believe that you're not on the scum team."
The Lemmings, after that, ponder the possibility of them being framed. The Lemmings then act out a scene where four of them run around in innocent joy, and another points at the first group. They are attempting to communicate to Kaz the possibility of them being framed.
Hiiii!
It takes a little while for Kazuichi to understand this, but he does, eventually.

"...oh! You think someone framed you? Well, that's possible... but it doesn't explain why you laughed at Henka's corpse! Henka was a friend! Hell, he was probably our best bet at making it outta here alive! And because of whoever killed him... we don't have anyone who could protect us!"
You might be onto somethin' here. Well, these critters better have a good story.

“OH? YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU RUN AROUND MEANS YOU'RE INNOCENT? YOU THINK LAUGHING AT FUCKING DEATH IS OK, AS LONG AS YOU RUN AROUND? YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M STARTING TO AGREE.”

She's basically gone insane over balls of floof. But for some reason…she thinks she's being too harsh. What if the killers just saw someone who couldn't talk, and who was a bit suspicious in their actions, as an easy target? Did they know people were going to investigate them?

Yeah, but they laughed at a dead child. Who gives a shit.

”I THINK YOU-oh wait tonyas dead

Ivi walks towards the Lemmings. If someone framed you, why did you laugh at the corpse in unision?! Why do you have such a blatant disregard for the gravity of the situation?! Running out the door in excitement earlier, laughing at the body?! I've seen my fair share of violence before, and let me tell you. The people who laugh at tragedy are many times the ones behind the trigger!

She sighs, and looks to Cass. Yes....Tonya died. Now we can only just hope we can protect ourselves.

and i may not be loved
but they'll always recall my name
out on the streets, but i do what i gotta do

Frankie starts pulsing colors and scratching her head with a tentacle like she has a headache.

Well, it's a theory. A very possible one. And I have to admit the lemmings haven't been acting, well. Like they care at all that someone was killed.

I guess I do want to see if there's any evidence the lemmings were framed, though. I mean -- it makes sense that Tonya thought they were suspicious and went to investigate, yes. And the bomber probably anticipated that. Involving someone who was actually innocent would be a way of taking another person down, wouldn't it?

I want some hard evidence, is all I'm saying.

Kazuichi nods in agreement at Frankie's assessment of the situation. "O-of course! They're still insensitive little pieces of shit, but I gotta give 'em the benefit of the doubt."
"It still strikes me as odd that this bomber would know Tonya would target the Lemmings, or that anyone would, for that matter. What exactly happened before I got here...?"
”So…three are dead. Three very important people are dead. So if Henka was knocked with a candle, Tonya was blown up, and Red was cut up…are there multiple killers, not counting the bomber and the regular killer?”
