Similarly to Tonya, he curls himself up in a ball and shudders, trying to process the fact that he could very well die here – and remembering the last time he got roped into a killing game when he thought he was just going to relax and make new friends...

She offers the balled up Kazuichi her hand.

Lance snorted at Kazuichi's crying. Men, neither him nor that one girl would last five minutes where I come from, he whispers to himself, shaking his head at Kazuichi and Tonya.

Tonya just... pointedly ignored this. Lance might have a good sense of style but man, he creeped her out big time.

Ivi looks back to Lance. You're a cool guy, Lance, and maybe you're right. Maybe they wouldn't last without anyone's help. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't pull them up, shouldn't give them the tools to realize that they don't have to cry in a ball!
