"oh yeah?" [Pizzabug turns directly towards Yukichi, their facial expression hiding thinly-veiled anger and their hands balled into fists.] "well, now ain't the time to even consider defending those pigs, if they're coming after us. unless you're one of them?"

Yukichi refuses to answer Cutbug, sensing that bad shit will only happen down the line if he does.

"Well, I'm sure gonna try to avoid being a victim of police brutality if I can help it!"

That's exactly right, Kim. They're all nasty sons-of-bitches. There's no judge and jury among them; just executioners. And Yukichi, Mr. Shannon has always had something of a temper problem. He's been accused several times of police brutality; him and anyone who works under him. But he always finds a way to clear his name. Probably because he's the most decorated cop in the city. But the people who've dealt with him, even some of my friends who isn't involved with the Mafioso business have seen his dark side, and it ain't pretty. He's such a smug, petty man who only cares about himself and that's why he wants us all dead.

He takes a breath before continuing.

I don't know which one of you here is a cop. So I'll have to leave it all to you to single them all out. Watch everyone closely. And if you suspect someone, find me and we'll call a meeting and me or any of my fine associates will take care of them. Show them why you don't fuck with Carmello Bianchi! , he says slamming his fist against the table.

But look, just stick with me. I'll have some jobs for you I expect completed and I will pay you all for them. And maybe you can use the money to figure out who the cops are. But they will also use their money to try and off you all. So be careful. But if you can all pull through and nail all 4 of 'em, I promise you all I will make you all very wealthy and very powerful beyond anything you can dream of.

Anyway, I have plenty of experience evading the sherrifs and my nosy neighbors, and figuring out who to trust. I'll figure out who's selling us all out.

Sho stood, leaning against the wall, eyes closed. Some things here couldn't be explained. But a little social deduction? That's Zetta easy. Yet he still couldn't be bothered to speak, less someone approached him.

May as well ask, she thought, know what to expect and all that.

Some of these jobs will have you acquiring some things like money or some weaponry. I do have quite a bit in the storage room, but I have a personal philosophy that it's better to have too much than not enough. And I'll also have you kill some people too. Don't worry, we're not like Frank and his cops. The people we're gonna kill are nasty pieces of work. They'll have it coming. But yeah, you know, just all these tasks that will help build my empire. And I believe in you all. You all can do it. I got faith in you all. Except for those of you who are the undercover cops, which in this case I say fuck you, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Carmello's words regarding cops stings Yukichi inside, given the implications of actually bastardous cops and they(including him)'re going to go against them.

[A man wearing a fedora and an otherwise formal lab attire can be spotted. He seems to be minding his own business, but not in a way that'd make him lose attention to what Carmello has to say. Soon after, he nodded at the mafia leader's announcement.]

“If you say so, chief.”

"Sounds about like what I'd expect for the Mafia. All right, I think I can handle that."

Kim nods. Okay, so... do some mafia stuff, figure out who the undercover cops are... yeah, she can do this.

[Pizzabug tenses up a little bit at the mention of having to kill people, but relaxes again when Carmello mentions he only goes after scumbags.] "...juuust a side-question. does that include cops that're not undercover? like, ones that're wholly unrelated to whatever fucking operation they got going on here?"

"Sounds simple enough. When's the show gonna start?"

He cracks his knuckles.

"You guys joined a mob, unprepared, huh? Be careful, or you'll get subtracted."

Ah Cops can go stuff it! Don't need 'em in Dream Land, don't need 'em anywhere else! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!!!

Well, Cutbug, you might have to defend yourself if some of those other cops show up. And if that comes down to it, you might have to get your hands a little bloody. After all, sometimes you can't avoid collateral damage. It's either fight or go to prison, or at worst, get yourself killed. Gotta do what you gotta do.

And onto Sho....

I'll have your first job for you all a little later. But for right now, just have a look around the mansion. We even got some bedrooms upstairs you can all claim. Although whoever is my best performer for the job will get to stay in the Safe Room next door here. You'll be safe from the undercover cops.... that is, if one doesn't end up the best performer that is. On that note, meeting is adjourned. I'll get you all your first job soon.

He heads back downstairs to his office.

Snakeweed grins.

Ah, good. I like getting down to business. A little hustle.

Loren grins in a decidedly predatory manner. "I should have no trouble with these jobs."

"good." [Pizzabug crosses their arms, smirking.] "maybe the undercover cops will get some sense smacked into them if we show 'em what we'll do to them by doing that to their buddies."

[A pause.] "...well. guess I don't have much else to do if the meeting's over. I'll be in one of the bedrooms if you need me. cops, D-N-I." [With that, they flash a peace sign with their hand, and head upstairs to... Bedroom 4. Four's a nice number.]

Yukichi sighs in relief, and proceeds to walk off to the third floor, where he heads to Bedroom 8, and unloads his luggage by teleporting them into existence and placing them by the bedroom floor. All while giving off a "freaking hell this vacation isn't gonna go as well as I first thought" face.
