"I'm still wondering about the royals too. If Yuuta is an even-night jailer which seems to line up with what Samantha said, there wouldn't be a driver in that setup at all would there? 'Though Liz's voting for them wouldn't have made a lot of sense on her part if they were on the same team."

Felicia looks a bit confused again, and Pippin is just kind of pacing... well, waddling back and forth near her.

Why would they both claim driver then? They'd have surely coordinated that.

"You'd think. But my role is active on odd nights, so either there's an even night driver and an odd-night jailer or there's no driver and an even-night jailer... and the last one lines up with Yuuta's claims."

...no? The stalker has the same parity as the driver.

"I could've sworn it said the order was Watcher, Stalker, Driver, Jailer. And there's no watcher."

Wait, disregard, that's incorrect.

Diluc may or may not be the watcher. But why are you so interested in not executing Cass? There is no downside, Giroro gets to win with us if Cass is innocent, and Cass has confessed a role that does not harm the killers in any way and conveniently is immune to death.

"I'm not? I was trying to get everyone on the same page and explain myself 'cause my name came up. And there can't be a Watcher since I'm odd nights, if there was a Watcher I'd be even."

"getting everyone on the same page" sounds a lot like "muddying the water" from here. Who do you propose we execute if not Cass? Do you actually have an alternative?

I agree with Felicia. And no, 'getting everyone on the same page' is not the same as 'muddying the water'. It's getting everyone on the same page. In any case, it seemed to me that from the correct execution of Yoshiko on the first night we seem to have lined up the order with that of the lineup without a Watcher.

...In any case, though, I do agree that Cass still seems likely to be on the side of the killers. They could be lazy... but nobody else here has fessed up to the mess with the mail, which would be evidence that an attack was probably made on Overlynd last night.

Wouldn't the parity hold true with or without a watcher? A nonexistent watcher would still take its place in the parity lineup, right? An odd bus driver would guarantee that a nonexistent watcher would be odd, for example, and an odd jailer in a world without a bus driver would not make the stalker even. I'm not entirely clear on whether or not that's true, of course, but it's ambiguous.

And who exactly would we be executing anyway? If you actually have someone who you'd execute in place of Cass, I would be interested. Ideally we all get out of this fine.

though you did suggest Louis and Marie. If you think that's possible, we could go right ahead, the whole "oh no we confused our role for another completely different role" does seem strange still.

I somehow doubt if that was the case they would have claimed the same role as Yoshiko but on different nights, and at first not specifying a night, wouldn't you think? That seems... risky. And strange.

Whichever it is, it's fine. If it falls innocent, Giroro gets a chance to choose life. If it falls guilty, we can all walk away clean. If it falls Wannabe, well, there's not many other options, are there? We can easily track and kill the last of them, and walk clear of this mess. After poisoning Dread DeJoy supporter Ruiz's coffee, of course.
