Thinking about it, the good cultist has not really said anything tangible to provide reasoning to their continued existence. Malakhiri, would you mind explaining your role here?

"Speaking of cultists... yeah, Death Priest over there hasn't claimed a role. But neither have a lot of people, and I don't remember seeing much from them besides a lot of overpriced candle smoke and mirrors and fancy talk. Can they even actually do magic? Maybe a demonstration is in order."

She turns a bit.

"And then there's Jean, who was... okay, disguising genders isn't a big deal at all in itself, but if your gender's the only one who can do magic in your world then it becomes more deceptive and suspicious. And yeah, we got a roleclaim here, some kind of bulletproof thing. Which could be legit, could be a convenient cover for 'oh the cultist tried to kill me and I dodged and yadda yadda yadda because I'm bulletproof'. Do we even know if the killer could've gone for Jean before figuring out they couldn't do that and then moving on to Freddy, or is all we have on this Jean's word?"

A pause.

"And then there's that brown hair the first night. Chip is clear, provided what Lotus has said is true. And Kondraki's story has yet to be proven, since nobody's mentioned hearing that music from the alleged switch the first night again and I didn't notice being switched with the honeymooners last night. 'Though maybe either Lloyd was able to block the switch before he died or it was just... too dark and possibly too close a proximity for me to have noticed?"

Another pause.

"And of course, looking at people's behavior... Red over there seemed awfully willing to just... execute someone in case they're guilty. Which, great if they ARE guilty. But very helpful to the cultists if not... and if Red's working with the cultists, suggesting that evidence points to an innocent to get them voted out would be expected. Remember, we've got someone other than brown-hair and magic user to look out for; there's three active cultists. We should be looking at behavior too."

This is a really ambiguous situation... any one of the people you mentioned could be a death cultist.

I'm just... what do we have and what's possible, and what do we have to go on.

Who could have done that to Lloyd last night? Could Malakhiri? Could Z? (...Is what they can do even considered magic? If not...) Is it possible the Soul could still have done something with their skeleton like voodoo, even though we tried manipulating the skeleton and nothing happened? I'm... still leaning toward Malakhiri, I think.

And as for the brown hair... yeah, I know and he knows Chip didn't do it. So I'm definitely still looking at Kondraki. But could the hair have been planted there somehow and it's not either of us? If not...

...I wish I knew how all this magic stuff worked.

"Yeah, all I know of magic is stuff from movies, tv, and books. And it kind of works differently in all of them anyway. One story you might just need a wand, another you might need a wand or staff and some magic words, sometimes you need a rhyming incantation, sometimes you need eye contact, sometimes you might need a doll or effigy or something, sometimes you need candles and oils and sigils, and sometimes all it takes is a twitch of the nose. It's... pretty ambiguous."

...and all that without a "yadda yadda yadda".

"You know how I've been saying I've been suspicious of her? Well, to put it this way... I've been feeling that way ever since she claimed the Bulletproof role."

And, hey, Life and Death, wherever you are! I know you're not into helping us out here. But can I ask you a couple of questions? If you can't answer you can't answer, but... Is what Z here can do what you would consider magic? And, could one of the Cultists kill someone else if they'd already tried to go after someone who was Bulletproof?

Amy isn't really expecting an answer to this either, but it'd certainly be useful in trying to work everything out.
