You wake up in the cabin your hiking group stopped by for the night to the sound of howling winds and the sight of whipping snow. A blizzard swooped in while you slept, and it looks like you won't be continuing your trip for a while.
You hadn't talked much with your fellow hikers before. Maybe now would be a good time to get to know them?

Then a man, appearing to be in his late-30s, with stubble and scruffy-looking clothes wakes up. He stretches and walks outside his room.
I think I really did it now; they'll never find me, he says right before he walks up to the others. His eyes widen, his heart rate rises, looking quite surprised.
W- W- Who the fuck are you people?, he says in quite the alarmed manner.

A young-looking man with shaggy green hair walks out from one of the bedrooms with a blanket wrapped around himself. It almost looks like there's something on his back, but it's probably just the blanket.
"Good morning, fellow hikers! Looks like the blizzard is keeping us from proceeding further on the hiking trail. I'm sure that it will fade away by next morning... I hope. Anyways, how about we find something to talk about? I'm not a very good talker, but I signed up for this hiking trip for the social aspect of it, so why wouldn't I be talking right now?"

Vera is a dark skinned woman with bright orange hair tied into two braids.
"I'm honestly still worried about that blizzard though.. If anyone requires immediate medical assistance, please come to me."

Perhaps I should have mentioned she would totally be wearing anything but a belly dancer outfit in the cold mountains. It'd suck to be her if I can't make that true now—
To the late-30s man who was exclaiming his shock and confusion, the richly dressed woman replied, "No need to get your pants in a twist, man, we're the same hikers as earlier." Looking out to the weather, she reflects on their luck in bunking in this cabin in time, at the very least.
"Call me Lotus. I'm simply... having a break, is all." Her words didn't match her appearance, as she didn't seem rather elated to be here.

There was a huge blanket covering up something in one of the corners of the room. The only things that could be visible were a top hat aligned in a jaunty angle and a pair of bear ears connected by mechanical wires.

Well, you'll just have to forgive me, the man said to Lotus, but I am fucking on edge right. Cops after me because I escaped from prison. And don't be alarmed. I'm not here to hurt anyone. In fact, that's why I'm on the run. Had an unfortunate accident that killed someone and I feel bad enough over it without rotting in the slammer!
His body trembles as he pulls out a cigarette, which looks to be a designer brand with a fancy signature font on it, as he lights one up and takes a puff.

It seems from the door still closed, that Sericle has yet to show up to the others.
