She sounds... pretty relieved, actually. She gives out

any other pertinent detailslike a last name because I never thought of one

that would go on a signup form, too.

"Great, thanks so much!"

Amanda ends the call and puts her phone away, smiling a bit.

[Caret]

With the call over, Mettaton immediately gets to filling out Amanda's sheet for her and then adds it to the folder containing the other applicants' sheets. After he finishes with that order of business, Mettaton suddenly realizes something. Between his latest applicant's fear of stairs and elevators and that weird fox-dog creature putting down "paragliding" as her planned performance, hosting the talent show inside simply isn't going to work out. With that in mind, Mettaton then calls the front desk to see if he can get a stage installed outside.

THIS IS THE ONE, THE ONLY, METTATON SPEAKING! I WANT TO SPEAK TO MANAGEMENT ABOUT GETTING A STAGE SUITABLE FOR A TALENT SHOW INSTALLED OUTSIDE, THANK YOU!

Henka had left behind the "drug store" in dissatisfaction.

"Wait, we're going to perform outside?" Moona asks Mettaton.

[Caret]

OH YES, WE ARE PERFORMING OUTSIDE, IF POSSIBLE! MOSTLY BECAUSE IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT THIS SHOW ON INSIDE WITH OUR CURRENT LINEUP OF BEAUTIES PERFORMING.

Mettaton meanwhile is still waiting for the front desk to call him back.

[Mettaton is impatient at the lack of response to his call.] ERRRRR... WE'RE STARTING THIS WEEKEND, REGARDLESS OF IF WE CAN GET A STAGE BUILT OR NOT! SIGN UP NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE, DARLINGS!

The pineapple is sitting next to the ringing phone, doing nothing because he has no arms.

...Moona realises what she can do, given another thing she frequently did at the toon studio.

"Thanks Mettaton!" Moona heads off to get some materials.

A good portion of the stage's foundation's have been built. It's...a lot cooler than expected.

Mettaton rolls out to his new with a mic in his hand.

TESTING... 1-2-3.  I THINK WE'RE GOOD TO START MY ATTEMPT AT STAYING SANE IN THIS HOTEL IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE THAT ISN'T EVEN MINE MURDERFREE'sSGOT TALENT TOMORROW, DARLINGS! At the same time, Bow come up to Mettaton to ask for something else.

Yeah, so I've been practicing paragliding and I've haven't been exactly doing well in the landing department, so I want something soft to land on in case of any emergencies, please.

ERRRRR... I CAN ALSO GET SOMETHING SOFT FOR YOU TO LAND ON. AND, JUST IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING I'M DEFINITELY NOT BEING OVERWHELMED HERE, BECAUSE BEING OVERWHELMED IS NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL!

With his ego running lose right now, Mettaton then takes a small notepad and jolts down the requests he received for stuff, before heading to the front desk to receive the stuff in question.

Mettaton is baffled by the presence of a pineapple at the front desk.

OH DEAR. A... PINEAPPLE? THAT... EXPLAINS WHY THE FRONT DESK WASN'T RESPONDING TO MY CALLS, ACTUALLY.

"Ooh, I've always wanted to appear on a cooking show," the pineapple says.

Mettaton is starting to get a little fed up with the pineapple.
