Fawful is meanwhile getting close to leading the race.

In the meanwhile, Bow decides to ring up the front desk as part of her quest for safety.

Then, Neptune uses a speed boost, trying to zoom past the others...

Vriska heads towards... some sort of booster, she hopes...

Bossman manages to get a red koopa shell and he fires, homing in to the closest racer near him...

Sonic uses yet another wisp obtained from that secret bonus zone...

Burst!

Sonic's kart now blasts away with firey boosts, engulfing said kart with fire every time.

[Caret]

Suddenly, a Bullet Bill with Fawful in it starts coursing though the racetrack, which eventually drops Fawful closer to the lead.

I HAVE COMEBACK!

And Vriska's picked up a speed boost! Oh dear, she's going REALLY FAST, can she still control her kart??

[Zanreo]

Then, the first kart crosses the finish line, closely followed by a second...

"First place... Fawful! And second place... Vriska!" As Derana announces this, the results can be seen on a screen.

Right after that, a third kart reaches the goal...

"And in third place... Neptune!!"

"Aww, third place? Well, not too bad!" Neptune says.

Aw man, I almost had it!!!!!!!! I still did pretty gr8 though, right? If I'd gotten one more 8urst of speed I woulda had this in the 8ag!

Vriska looks pretty pleased with herself, even if she didn't come in first.

YES! Fawful enjoys always being number 1! I HAVE VICTORY!!!!

Fawful drives a victory lap around the track before leaving to make himself a victory pizza.

And Bossman finishes fourth.

Shame I didn't win. Oh, well, good racin', everyone.

Earlier... Ichiban got 6th place, just behind Sonic. "Whoo, haven't done this in a while... oh well, this was fun! Almost as great as Dragon Kart... gotta try this again sometime!"

Just as BiA 3's coming to a close, Henrik goes back to check on Junko.
