Either the newcomer is unfazed by the talking pineapple or she's polite enough to pretend to be unfazed by a talking pineapple. She's just continuing to smile politely until she gets the key and goes to check out the room.

"Yeah, I think that'd be a good idea. Maybe one of the diving boards at the pool? The high dive should be a good distance, and falling in the water should be pretty safe anyway. I was wanting to go for a swim after this anyway..."

Fawful turns his attention to Yanny and Laurel.

Oh, hello new people! Interested in karting in a glory kart race?

Sonic is speeding by the hotel when he sees the go-kart track.

Sonic stops upon seeing the go-kart track...

Henka ends up crashing into a wall near Sonic before the race even starts.

"Hey! Who are ya?" He asks enthusiastically.

"Okay, I'm just about done here, then we can go test this out."

Vriska finishes setting up her spider-web obstacles. She's now painting some boxes to look like giant dice when she notices the newcomers.

"Hey!!!!!!!! We're gonna have a really gr8 race if you want to sign up."

She waves, grinning.

-Lobby-

The newcomer has gotten her keys, and is kinda just... looking for anybody to talk to.

Bow's Room

Alighty, then! Let's try testing out my parachute, then!

She attaches the parachute to herself and then heads out to the...

Here, she decides to climb onto the tallest diving board at the pool in preparation for her test flight.

Fawful meanwhile has put some banana peels and oil cans on the back of his car in preparation for the race.

Sonic turns to Henka...

I'm Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!

"...Sorry guys, I would love to join you in the race, but the kart I got is a bit off-putting for me, and I feel like I haven't fully recovered from what happened in that...gruesome cooking show."

Henrik leaves his kart behind, and goes back to his room.

"WOOOOOOO-" Unfortunately for Sonic, Henka's gone off with his kart, completely out of the race course.

[Dookie]

"Is there going to be a test? Can we join?"

[Kennifer]

-Pool-

Alexis headed to the pool with Bow, and double-checked everything with the parachute and harness for the test.

"You want me to come up with you, or watch from a distance and see how it looks?"

-Kart Track-

Vriska sets out her "giant dice" obstacles; she figures they'll be fun to steer around but won't hurt anybody to crash into since they're just empty painted boxes. She then gets onto the cart she'd claimed (and yes, she painted an 8-ball on the side) to test out the steering.

Pool

I think you should try watching to see how it looks from down below and so you catch me if anything goes super wrong. If I'm able to glide to the other side pool without getting wet, then that should mean the parachute works well in sustaining my weight.

She walks up to the edge of the tallest diving board and takes a deep breath.

Whoa... this is kinda high up... but I'm ready whenever you are!

[Kennifer]

-Pool-

Alexis takes off the clothes she's wearing over her swimsuit and gets into the pool to watch, and also to catch if needed.

"All right, go for it!"

[Caret]

(OCC: For reference, I used a d20 to determine the result of this post, and I ended up rolling an 18.)

OK!

Bow closes her eyes and starts to count down.

3... 2... 1...

With that final countdown, she leaps off the edge of the diving board and lets out of a slight scream, however, her terror quickly turns into excitement as Bow manages to deploy her parachute, allowing her to gently float above the pool.

It... works! I'M FLYING! WOOHOO!

She giggles triumphantly.

[Kennifer]

-Pool-

"Oh wow, that looks amazing!" Alexis cheers her friend on.

[Caret]

Pool

I can barely hear you from up here, but thanks!

Bow then maneuvers herself to the other side of the pool using what remaining height she has before gently landing on the poolside.

Well, that went extremely well! And fun! I still need to test the actual breaking power of the parachute from a higher distance, but still... you don't see an Eevee flying everyday now, huh?

Mettaton's Room
Meanwhile, Mettaton has been watching the commotion going on in the pool from his window.

OH YES! THESE ACTS ARE ALREADY SHAPING UP TO BE GREAT! I BELIEVE IN YOU, DARLINGS!

"Heh... no, I don't. It's very cool!"

Thanks! That got me more excited for the show, so I can't wait for that to start! Speaking of which, now I know that my parachute is safe to use, I should probably should move on to practicing my routine from higher areas soon, huh? Actually, I still need to find something to break my fall in case of any accidents, so that can wait until tomorrow.

[Kennifer]

-Pool-

"Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Maybe some netting or something."

Alexis was kinda just treading water while she talked as she relaxed in the pool a bit.

Some netting? I don't know where you would get a safety net here, but maybe I can try improvising one.

Bow meanwhile was occupied with re-rigging her parachute for later use while she was talking to Alexis.

"Sure wouldn't hurt to look for something that could be used, yeah."

Bow waves at her friend before heading off to find something to break her fall.
