"Hey Ash? Did you bring that Gengar with you? That looks like a pretty scary Pokemon..."

"Nope, I've showed you all five Pokémon I brought here with me," Ash says.

"Pika pi," Pikachu pikas.

[Kennifer]

"I don't think I believe you..."

Ash folds his arms. "Well, you can search me for hidden Poké Balls if you don't believe me."

Wendy: 3; Ooh, she's not quite sure...

"A little help please? Ash, hold STILL!"

Ash, can you show us all five of your Pokeballs for your five Pokemon? Just so that we know you're telling the truth.

Ash hands over the five currently-empty Poké Balls to Kai, and then holds as still as he can to make sure Wendy has no trouble finding that he doesn't have any more on him.

[Kennifer]

Wendy: 10; Yeah, Ash definitely has a pokéball he hasn't disclosed. You knew it! You toss it in the air and... it lands on your head. Ouch. Duck next time.

"Ow!"

Wendy rubs her head.

"That's an empty ball," Ash grumbles. "I carry those around to catch more Pokémon." He rifles through his pockets and retrieves a whole pile of them. "I wasn't thinking those, they're a whole different thing."

[Kennifer]

"We'll see about that!"

[PointMaid]

Wendy: 9; Um, actually, those are empty...

[Kennifer]

"Augh, damn it! Because those prints really look like that Gengar on the show. It's got to be somewhere!"

Wendy sounds... very convinced of this.

Ash shrugs very loudly. "Well, it's certainly not on me, as you can see. If someone else has a Gengar they're using to scare people to death... that'd actually be really darn clever of them."

[Kennifer]

"Hey! Somebody want to help me hunt for Pokeballs?"

[Dookie]

“Sure.”

Dookie: 7; You figure out pretty definitively that nobody has a Gengar on them at the moment.
