1. Okay, so... if I remember correctly, I should follow the sun first, right? It should be setting about now, so that's west... and so if I find my way to the river I should be able to follow it... upstream, then find the bridge? Right? I think this should work somehow, my navigation's a bit rusty.
   
2. Oh darn. I uh... I hate wet clothes! So I should probably find a thing of leaves to cover me up. Lick 'em, stick some on my body, and if some killer sees me I can fall over and blend right in! This isn't foolproof, I think, but I think this should work!
   
3. I think these trees should bear some fruits, but then again where we are probably not. I could eat the cones but I'm not sure if they'd be too crunchy or something, so maybe some berries in a bush or something could help if they're not poisonous. Just a little something to tide me over or something.

Jake's good memory serves him well navigating to the river and then towards the bridge. Even if the riverbank isn't the easiest to walk along at the moment.

The leaves are an... interesting idea, and interestingly enough turn out to actually work. They even provide that camouflage.

And for sustenance, Jake the Raccoon does what raccoons do and forages. Are there lots of berries in the forest of the Northwest this time of year for a hungry young raccoon? There are!

Maple Returns (to the campsite)

Maple looks for the tallest tree and climbs it as high as he can to see if he can see back to camp.

* Make something to keep the rain off while you walk
"Oh no, rain! Ugh ugh ugh!" Maple can feel his energy draining already. There's nothing for it, he's just gotta stick by the trees. An umbrella wouldn't actually help him any here - it's not like the rain itself hurts him, just that it means flowers aren't blooming. ... most flowers. If he seeks out something like rain lilies that blooms more when it rains, that'll give him a much-needed boost.

* Find something in the woods you can eat on the way so you have enough energy. If you need to, figure out how to cook it.
Maple finds a beehive, points the inhabitants towards some of those rain lilies, and asks them if they have any honey to share. Adding this to what the other campers gather will help keep everyone's energy up.

Maple does climb a tall tree. Looks like he's pretty good at climbing. Maybe being light helps. Or maybe he uses his ability to hover a bit. He can get a pretty good view of the lay of the land, though, either way.

He does find some rain lilies. That doesn't keep any rain off, of course, but he has a decent amount of energy now, so he at least feels fine.

And the bees are very helpful and appreciative of the rain lilies, too. Sweet job! That honey should help to tide everyone over as you make your way back to camp.

"2005? 2020? You kiddin' me?" Anya snickers. "Those were thousands of years ago! Unless... did we just travel back in time, to the age of the Old World?"

"Uh... I wouldn't rule out the possibility. It would explain the... rather strange inconsistencies I've noticed. I haven't figured what sent into the past, but..."

Before long, a massive grin appears on Anya's face. She laughs excitingly.

"Holy damn! WE'RE IN THE OLD WORLD! I can't believe I'm talking to living, breathing people from the past! Spoiler alert: the world's ending soon-ish! But that's a topic for another day! I have a few questions prepared for you!"

"A-Anya! Can you please not overwhelm the group with information? I have a feeling at least one of our guests sees us as delusional."

"Sorry! I'll calm down a bit."

"Beside, uh... we don't know how to return to our time period. We should be treating this with upmost seriousness."

"Right. If we're gonna be stuck with these guys for Goddess knows how long, at least we should get to know them!"

Before long, the cabins come into view, along with some of the others. Zee notice Jake seems to be looking around for something.

Eki is now glaring at Anya. Oops. Anya may have fed them a bit too much info. After all, nobody likes being told they'll probably experience the Unraveling firsthand. And what's a better way to comfort people than to pass off what you just said is a lie?

"PSYCH! I was just messing with you! The apocalypse isn't happening anytime soon! You'll all be dead by the time it happens." Actually, in Eki and Anya's timeline, the apocalypse happened in the 2030s. Fun.

Mindy glared at Eki and Anya before shaking her head at the two of them. It's pretty clear she is just done with this day right now.

"Uh... Anya, can you p-please watch what you say, so people don't see us as rude? I-I apologize for my friend's behavior. She... can be impulsive, that's all. hope that doesn't color your initial impression of us."

"Uh, oh!" Bunyan looked around and realized that she got lost. "We gotta find our way out, Babe!"

A giant and her ox lost in the woods

1. Find out which direction you need to be going to get back
Bunyan changes her height to be at least twenty feet taller than the trees and with a bird's eyes view of the entire forest, she'll be able to spot the cabins and head towards them.
2. Make something to keep the rain off while you walk
Bunyan shrinks a several feet down and chops down two trees. With her axe, she cuts out two pieces from the trees, with the intention of putting the trees together like a puzzle to make a plus shape; she makes sure that the trees can fit together nicely. Using her strength, she carries the tree plus sign to keep herself and Babe from getting wet.
3. Find something in the woods you can eat on the way so you have enough energy. If you need to, figure out how to cook it.
"Babe, can you get some berries please?"
While Servants don't need to eat and can survive without food, some snacks won't hurt. Bunyan asks Babe to go gather some berries for the two of them, which he does by running around the forest to go look for bushes with berries in them. Bunyan increases her height to be taller than the trees again and holds the tree plus sign like a cross so Babe can find her easier.

Paul has rolled 2+1 for sizeshifting, 2+2 for lumberjacking ability and strength, and 10. This leaves her with a final score of 17.

Paul can easily get taller than the trees, but now her head's in a huge low cloud, making it hard to see far.

The rain shield made out of two trees... sort of works? But it's difficult to maneuver in a packed forest, even for her. And if she's large enough to hold it over the trees, she's difficult to maneuver through the forest, herself.

Babe uses his nose well to find berries growing in the forest, though. Is that where he got that blue color, from eating blue berries? ;)
