"I do kind of wonder if 'Lucinda' has some sort of consciousness somehow, but... I haveex yet to see a mannequin that's actually alive and not just, well... creepy and inanimate."

"In real life, at least, and not creepy inanimate things coming to life in movies."

She motions for whoever's got the bottle to pass it over so she can have another drink.

"Lucinda seems to be able to put itself back together, so "killing" won't do any good. Actually, how can a mannequin put itself back together? I'm thinking Lucinda may not be a mannequin after all..."

Karma pricked up her ears and looked warily at Lucinda. The alcohol she'd sipped might be starting to affect her.

"Obviously, she's a high tech mannequin. Nanomachines and all to repair her." Bit's ears tilt. "Didn't make her look the part, though. Maybe they really want to sell the low-tech aesthetic."

Lloyd comes back to join the others, overhears the talk about the mannequin, and
