Foolish woman. Do you really think your so-called Foundation can handle me? Or my souls I collect? The souls who I have in control of? They will be just like you and everyone here; tortured for eternity. As amusing as your false hope is, it is time to join the others.
The Ranger rises his/her arm into the sky as thunder booms nearby the camp. A dark soul rises out of the ground and circles around Popo before it absorbs itself into the boy. Popo's body trembles for several seconds before the pupils in his eyes disappear. He looks at Ai with hatred. Not the look one would expect a little boy to look at his mother with. No love, no warmth. It's a look of pure evil; and now, he wants Ai's blood. He growls at his mother in a way that sounds more demon than human. Ai asks Popo what's wrong with him, for he doesn't seem like himself. The little boy innocence he had was now gone as he lunges at Ai, yowling like a cheetah. He forces her onto the ground and gnaws at her neck. Blood sprays on Popo like a geyser as he eats away the flesh and organs inside her throat. Ai can't even muster a scream as her son chews through her vocal chords. Ai dies before Popo starts to chew on her jaw. He rips out a part of her mandible. He turns his head towards the others with her jaw bone still in his mouth, approaching everyone. As he swallows the bone, it gets stuck in his throat. He tries to cough it out, but it's so lodged in there, he can't breath. Popo's face glows ice blue as the dark soul leaves his body and go back under the ground. The boy keeps trying to cough out his mother's mandible before it finally comes out. Not through his mouth however. It tears through his own neck, protruding out of it like some bloody neck brace. He looks down at the bone that just came through his own neck before he takes one last breath before falling on his face into a puddle of his own blood.
Seconds later, the souls of Ai and Popo rise out of their bodies. Popo looks at his mother, crying as he rushes in to hug her. Ai embraces him as she figured out he wasn't himself when he killed her. Afterwards, everyone hears low moaning sounds as the dark souls rise out of the ground. They fly and circle around both mother and son. They close in and snatch them both away from each other. Ai and Popo scream for each other as they're both separated by the demonic souls as they fall through underground. Their voices calling out for each other echo before fading away.
Two souls for the price of one. But your negligence in voting has not worked in your favor as mother and son were both The Seers. It's unfortunate they both had to die like this. I can only imagine what their souls are going through right now. I can assure you, Ranger, torturing their souls is even more wonderful considering how they got rid of one of the innocent ones first. These people do not have the same luck like the ones at Blackmoon Forest a year ago. I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you, Witch. They can still find the other possessed. They can still win in the end like the ones at Blackmoon.
Keep deluding yourself, Ranger. Maybe you can sacrifice a goat and make it come true. But oh wait, look who is in control of your body. Know your place, for you are still a mere mortal being used as a vessel for me.

“ Well, naang Veronica, naang Ai, and Popo definitely weren't. I'm not sure about naay Stan, considering how he… well… fell from the sky halfway through the investigation, and I don't have any reason to suspect ye, so that leaves…”
He pauses, calculating something in his head.
“ Naang Dorothy and Jenny.”
He appears somewhat stricken by the possibilities he's come up with.

Reality seems to untwist around Talatravi. Or twist in a new way, perhaps, as the hammer falls. She adjusts her wolf-pelt/helmet, fiddles with her hair a bit, and completely ignores Konji's attack.
Those fools should have answered my queries into what they actually did. They'd live yet if they had.
Who do I suspect, you ask? Well... Veronica claimed Paladin, and no one has yet claimed otherwise... wisely, as no one should ever claim to be such a twisted being as a paladin in the first place, so, I suppose we should move down the list, like so many devoted Veltirissichytiv. Next in line is the cat, Dorothy Westcott. So Dorothy it shall be. Shall we get to the challenge then?
She's very abruptly stopped rhyming and following meter. It's almost jarring.

Ting-Lu shakes its head in disappointment after learning Ai and Popo's role.
Is this some sort of cruel prank? Who scribed this twist of fate?
It turns to Talatravi. The first sentence is spoken with far more quiet fury than the second, which has more cynical disappointment.
You will pay for this, you fool. You are no more than a tyrant who slays the weak.
Then responds to Phikul:
Or Maryann either has a bad memory or is a liar.

The weak die, yes. A tyrant? Perhaps. But I do not kill the weak unless they do not seek my protection. They could have sought it, but they did not. They could have spoken, but they did not. They were fools. Maryann was right, and those of you who do not see that, you too are fools. This witch has twice-lost, and she still claims she can hold a forest? She has no place in my forest, and as my power grows day by day, I shall strike her down and banish her to her next stronghold. Alksor Tovahivhahr, the wolf cannot be bound, no matter the strength of bond. Even the people of here understand this, with the legend of Fenrir who could not be constrained forever! But you...
You all will have a place in MY forest, when the time comes. Whether that place is on display as a warning to others, or proudly subservient to me, that is your choice. The witch has already decided which side she'll fall upon with her actions. Tho Vahldahlkahstar Vahlkol, Izah Alksor Vahlkol! Zhylathen Alksor Vahlkol!

Talantravi, Talantravi, Talantravi.... Still ranting on over how the forest is still yours? I must say, your dedication to keep lying to yourself is impressive. But you can chant all you want how you will win in the end, how weak I am. But you are wasting your breath. It is so laughable. But onto other matters. The souls of the ones who died here, including your Claudette and Ai and Popo, have become acquainted with my friends. Perhaps it is time you all get a preview of what to expect when I claim the rest of your souls.
Everyone looks around and sees hands burrowing out of the ground. Rising up are zombies. Of all ages, genders, races, etc. who had looked like they were all killed in various, brutal ways when they were all living humans. Other creatures burst out of the ground too. And they all have their eyes on you, hungry for your flesh and blood.
No... no... Send them back to Hell or wherever, please. Quiet, human. I think everyone here needs to be acquainted with the signs of my legend. These people here will die. But I never will. Now feast, quench your thirst with their lives!
And now they're all coming after you...
1. The zombies are all looking to add you all to the ranks of the undead. They are all huge in numbers. Battle the zombies or find a way to evade them.
2. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way.
3. A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation.

1. Phikul's antlers may be sharp, but if he charges into the zombies to stab them, he might come out with some ( very much unwanted ) bite marks. Instead, he chooses to use forest-magic on them, as he did with the sharks from before. Unlike last time though, he warms up first, melodies rising and falling before morphing into a sonorous, almost mechanically delivered chant. Those golden particles begin to materialise and form petal-shaped projectiles that shoot towards the zombies.
2. Being the Prince of the Linn, Phikul's dealt with many raging forest denizens, so he has some idea of how he'll go about with this. He only hopes that it'll also work on evil supernatural dogs.
The time between this and the zombie battalion has allowed him to “recharge” his vocal cords. He sings it a gentle lullaby, in fact an incantation that puts the target's inner workings in a sort of slowed-down state, effectively making it gradually lose consciousness.
“That's th- wait, I have to kill it?”
Somewhat hesitantly, Phikul shifts into humanoid form, pulls off his diadem, and thrusts a sharp point into its cranium.
3. Phikul hasn't used this incantation in a while, but he manages to turn into a dove and flies as high as he can, away from the hands.

There once was a story. It was a story of truth, of terror, and of the deepest source of power in the world. Everyone finds their groove and travels along it only long enough to see it disappear. Many before her failed when their groove, their niche, was sealed. But there is a groove that shall never disappear, as long as the speaker can speak still, so it is said.
This was a story about stories.
This was a story about Talantravi Alksorkhin, the one for whom every legend was true, and more. Her groove would never disappear, for people would never stop telling stories. She had woven a web of her own within other's webs, she parasitized the narratives of others, and later, herself. To believe in yourself to an extent such that it becomes true, and to have others believe in you the same, empowering you further, can there be any power greater?
1. She struck out, she fought. Her skills with a bow were infamous. It was said she could strike a fly at a hundred and fifty paces, and have ten arrows in the air at a time, and that every one of those arrows would kill her chosen target. No horde, alive or undead, could oppose her, as arrow after arrow found its mark, cutting every foe apart. Was this story true? It does not matter. It is now.
2. It was said that she was a wolf, in her heart. It was said that she could win any fight. It is still said that all shall submit to her, or hide until they must face the truth that they should. She used her aura of intimidation to force any creature that even attempted to oppose her to submit to her or flee, as even the demon wolves know well their true master, the one destined to rule all things forever, Talantravi Alksorkhin. Was this story true? It does not matter. It is now.
3. Even as the planes struck out, even as the chasms opened up to claim her, she stood resolute. Nothing could break her, nothing could bend her, nothing could shake her. Momentum cuts both ways, her inertia was such that not even the tightest or strongest grasping hand, not even the most powerful of the demons, could move her if she did not wish to be thus moved. She was a mountain, and she was a reed. Flexible only as far as it served her, and no farther, whether physically or emotionally. She could endure anything. Was this story true? It does not matter. IT. IS. NOW.

No problem. That guarantees I roll a 1 or 10 now, doesn't it?
Not only is Ting-Lu resistant to Ghost attacks, its body is actually metallic and earthen, so very little, if anything, in terms of actual flesh. Some Ghost Pokemon like Cofagrigus (sarcophagus) and Dusclops (looks like a cyclops mummy) are enough for me to associate the undead in general, and hence zombies with the Ghost type.
Ting-Lu employs a strategy similar to the Spikes+Earthquake one from its encounter with the sharks, though hopefully it won't result in catastrophe this time. In addition, it'll pick off stragglers with a ruthless Throat Chop, courtesy of it swinging its antlers into/through their necks.
2. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way.
It's definitely faster. That doesn't necessarily mean it's tougher.
Considering the closest thing to a Pokemon hellhound is Houndoom, which Ting-Lu has the type advantage against, it'll stick to just Earthquake and Rock Slide to fight it off. This doesn't guarantee the demon dog here has similar weaknesses. But if it does, happy days.
If it downs the hound for long enough, Ting-Lu will then trample on the hound's head if it has time, partially to make sure it doesn't come up for round two and partially just for its own amusement.
3. A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation.
This'll be the tricky bit, unless luck says otherwise.
Speed is not Ting-Lu's strength at all. However, it's very heavy, which could even that out in this case unless the hands are super strong.
Ting-Lu will try to run from the portal as long as it can to maximise its distance from it.
Once the hands make it difficult for it to move, it will again choose Earthquake to shake them off. If things get desperate, it can try using Rock Slide to fight them off or make a platform.
Weirdly, Ting-Lu is more determined to not let the witch get one over it than afraid of eternal torment. Following getting hoist by its own petard during the aforementioned shark incident, it guesses she's not done with it yet, and hence she'll just drag it back out of Hell to torment it herself, for one.
What else needs saying?

Konji sighs at the things that are happening.
- Konji walks toward the river and crosses it, hoping that they will drown. Any that manage to catch up to him, he slaps away full force, tries to fan away with his wings, or knocks into the river.
- At the other side of the river, he is slightly overwhelmed by zombies as the hellish hound races toward him. As the hound leaps, he dodges again and again, trying to scratch it with his hook each time. When the dog looks sufficiently tired, he stomps on it multiple times before stabbing it in the throat and holding it under the water to drown it.
- The hands of hell are small to grab into his feet, but he flaps his wings fast enough that hopefully he can get air enough. He uses his fire breath to ensure that they feel the pain and move away as he thuds down on the ground next to the portal.
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.

1. The zombies are not phased at all by your melodies, your chants, or even your projectiles. They keep marching towards you lifelessly without any harm done to them. Deciding it's not worth it, you calmly run away from them before they devour you.
Rolled 3 and 1+ for calmness for 4.
2. And like before, your melodies don't stop the demonic beast. In fact, it appears you made it more furious. It lunges at you. And you're too weak to escape from it as it tears into you like you were a chew toy. It swings you around in its mighty jaws before it throws your lifeless body against the tree. The Ranger appears and with a flick of his/her wrist, you're back to life.
Your death cries are more music to my ears than any melody you produce.
Rolled 2.
3. You are not quick enough to fly from the hands as they drag you right into Hell. You fall in the hole before flames rise up, spitting you outside where you now resemble a Thanksgiving dinner. Again, the Ranger brings you back to life in your normal form.
For that brief moment, it was like the dinner at Plymouth.

1. It is not now. You fight with your bows as hard as you can. But none of your shots are on the mark. They barely miss the zombies. You're not fettered, however, as you keep trying. But in the end, the zombies swarm you for their next meal. They leave, as your body is now reduced to bloody bone. The Ranger again snaps his/her fingers as the skin, flesh and armor form back on your body, your life resurrected.
Perhaps the Mighty Wolf is better off fighting in-close...
Rolled 2 and 1+ for archery for 3.
2. It is still not now. The demonic creature is immune to your aura. Not phased by your nature at all, it jumps several feet in the air and lands on you, turning you into a quick meal. The Ranger has to resurrect you again, just outside of the beast.
It appears the Mighty Wolf is not so mighty now, is she?
Rolled 1 and 1+ for aura for 2.
3. This, however, is now. The hand tries hard to drag you into Hell. But your might is too much for it as it eventually crumbles to pieces, landing at your feet. Your combat prowess might not have been up-to-par, but you definitely won't go down easy.

1. The zombies are not fooled by you at all. They are all influenced by the dark souls and as such, can sense you easily. You should know better than to fool the ones taken over with black magic. You attempt to run away, but they catch up to you and you become their next meow-al. The Ranger snaps his/her fingers once again and you're back to normal, back to life.
Foolish feline, did you really think you can trick creatures?
Rolled 4 and 1- for lack of perception for 3.
2. You grab some water from the river, carefully, because the river flows fast like stock cars at a race track. If you fall in, you're not getting back out. You use the water on the beast and weaken it. It doesn't die, but it is wounded, giving you ample time to escape.
Rolled 5 and 1+ for occult knowledge for 6.
3. You'd be surprised. The hand actually listened to your request and respected your wishes as it goes back down to Hell. What was that about? Was the hand in a charitable mood or something? Deciding not to ask questions, you move on.

1. The zombies are no match for your Spikes and Earthquake.s It is way too much for them to handle. None of them get close to you as they all topple down, dead in their tracks. The dark souls leave the zombie bodies, knowing better than to mess with you. A flawless victory for you.
Rolled 8 and 1+ for ground attacks for 9.
2. You've found the weakness of the demonic hound. Not only do you stop it with your Earthquake and Spikes, you also crush it into mulch the second you jump on it. It's like stepping on a ketchup packet. Guess the creature wasn't as durable as it looked.
Rolled 9 and 1+ for strength for 10.
3. The zombies and demon hound were easy. The hand, however, is much more tougher. It actually puts up a fight as it can handle all your moves and tries hard to yank you down into eternal torment. Still, you are quite resistant as it eventually tires out and releases you from its grasp before it goes back down into Hell. A lot tougher than the first two battles, but you reign supreme.

DEADLINE IS JULY 5, 8 PM EST/7 PM CST
1: Jenny lures them into a forest, and then rushes over and finds a few rocks to make some sparks... and then hopefully... FOREST FIRE!
2: Cerberus... A foul creature... okay... ... Are there any chains... Or... Any way to... AHA! *[Jenny tries to choke the beast by grabbing on to its neck... if it doesn't choke, hopefully, it should be able to slit its own neck with those sharp claws... actually... since Jenny is relatively small... let's go with THAT instead.
3: Coax the hands into grabbing her many rabbit dolls instead! They won't know the difference... right?
1. This goes decently well. You start a forest fire. One that's not too big where it grows out of control, but one just the right size to roast all the zombies alive. But after the last ones burn up, you quickly put out the fire before it creates a catastrophe.
Rolled 6 and 1+ for intelligence for 7.
2. On the contrary. Your size proves to be just perfect to serve as the creature's meal. You try to think of a way to stop it, but the pressure of it breaks you down before the creature breaks you down with its teeth. The Ranger appears again and with another snap of the fingers, you're completely intact and alive.
At least the others tried to fight the creature. Your attempts were pathetic.
Rolled 3 and 1- for breaking down for 2.
3. The hand is not fooled by the rabbits as it snatches you down into Hell. Next thing you know, you're impaled on stalactites and burning over a pit of molten rock before you get submerged into the lava. The Ranger once again points near the hole and you're back, alive and out of Hell.
This is only a preview of what will await you after your mortal death.

1. You are much to slow to jump over the river and outrun the zombies. They all jump and swarm you as you all fall into the river. The force of the waters is like a rollercoaster as it pushes you into the deep abyss of jagged rocks. Getting stuck in the stony fragments, you can't escape nor fight off the zombies tearing into your skin as you drown. The Ranger appears at the river and levitates your corpse out of the river and puts you back on dry land before bringing you back to life.
If you cannot even outrun zombies, perhaps it is time for you to retire.
Rolled 3 and 1- for lack of speed for 2.
2. The hound does not go down easy for you as you all wrestle each other near the river. Having drowned minutes ago, you do not wish to go through that again as you gain the upper hand by piercing the beast with your hook and holding its head down into the water until it eventfully drowns. You're wounded, but you won in the end.
Rolled 4 and 1+ for cunning for 5.
3. You manage to fly off before the hands grab you. The fire breath deters them with ease as they retreat back into Hell.
Rolled 7 and 1+ for fire breath for 8.
