Sorry I'm late, had to pick up my stuff.

He then sees the monstrosity that is the hotel.

So... this is where we're staying, right?

Dennis catches up with everyone. "So sorry for being late. And... well. It's a hotel. That's all I can say about that."

Everyone is led inside. Inside, is a girl with black hair, white eyelids, and modest clothing.

“Hello. If you don't know already, you have all been chosen for a reason.”

Reina looks around. Still no sign of her dad. She looks around at the group. Different ages, some people were... kinda weird. What reason could they have to bring them all here?

Let me guess. Baseball scholarship?, she quips.

"This must be purgatory," he says. "I mean, how else could..." he looks down. "Never mind."

“Wait....goddamit, we got the wrong person,” said Victoria, not knowing that she got 3 wrong people.

“Someone please escort Mr. Griffin away.”

Two guards come in and drag him out.

"You thought you just came here for a vacation? Far from it."

"Let me reveal something. The people you're talking to right now? They were in gangs...the same one you were in all those years ago, in fact."

A guard comes up and whispers in her ear.

"Oh...fuck. It seems we got two other wrong people. Could-"

The boat leaves from the island.

"Well...I guess you have to stay. Should the other organizers introduce themselves?"

"We're sorry, we're a little confused," piped a small voice from one of the resident's shoulders. "Is it just our gang we're talking about or the other one?"

"both of 'em. The Crows and the Sharks. But...I wanted to be more strategic this time. We can't have a full on battle, so why not hide? I know some of you don't even want to kill anymore, and some of you aren't even meant to be here. So, if you are still on our side, trying to kill the other gang...blend in. Nobody will find you. And if you do kill someone, make sure not to leave too much evidence...or we might just execute you, too."

"Wait, what...?" Paruko seemed a bit confused as she realized this wouldn't be a regular vacation. "Crows and Sharks... so that's why- wait, KILL?"

Reina looks... pissed. Her arms are tensed and occasionally swing like she's testing out a baseball bat.

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!" Seth throws his hands in the air defensively. "Don't go dragging me into this, alright? I just wanted to drink pina coladas on the beach, dammit! I've been saying that, I dunno, several times a minute!"

"We're about as confused as the giant," said the tiny moth with a stoic expression, "But we presume we'll figure it out."

"Okay, I knew getting invited on a beautiful island getaway was too good to be true."

Amanda idly wondered if she was one of the other people who weren't even supposed to be there, that'd be... probably par for the course with her weird luck.

Dennis groans. "Murders... and here I was, hoping I wouldn't be doing much work."

"Ah, got it." Man, Dan thought to himself; this perfect getaway wouldn't be so perfect after all. He walks up to the desk and pulls out a wad of $100 bills from his backpack. "Anyways, if we're gonna be here, I'll take your nicest room."

"So anyway, I' the leader of the Crows. The side that sides with technology. The Sharks, they're all for nature. I'll let Eri, an assistant of mine, speak for herself on the matter. Oh, and that Shoehorn and his daughter."

"But, if they're not here, I guess you can explore this place."

Dennis only now realises that no description of the room he is in has been issued. Shocked by this fourth-wall break, he decides to

It's a plain, yet very fancy room. There are places to get rooms, a TV in the corner of a lounge, a movie theater and arcade, a full-service restaurant, and a breakfast bar. There are elevators and stairs leading up to the rooms.
