Yes.

Assuming they've got a sense of hearing, anyway.
Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?

Do you like Nine Inch Nails? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when The Downward Spiral came out in '94, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a raw, crisp sound, and a new sheen of self loathing that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to David Bowie, but I think Trent has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In '99, Trent released this, The Fragile, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Starfuckers Inc", a song so banging, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson, it's also a personal statement about the music industry. HEY PAUL!

Do you like Bee Movie? The early teasers was a little too beeish for my tastes, but when the first true trailer came out in '06, I think it really came into its own, commercially and artistically. The whole trailer has a raw, crisp sound, and a new sheen of memes that really gives the scenes a big boost. It's been compared to Shrek, but I think this movie has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In ‘07, Dreamworks released this, Bee Movie, their most accomplished movie. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Ya Like Jazz", a scene so wonderful, most people probably don't know the real meaning.. But they should, because it's not just about unrequited love, and jazz, it's also a personal statement about the movie industry. HEY BARRY!

Do you like The Road to El Dorado? The early teasers was a little too gold for my tastes, but when the first true trailer came out in '99, I think it really came into its own, commercially and artistically. The whole trailer has a raw, crisp sound, and a new sheen of memes that really gives the scenes a big boost. It's been compared to Shrek, but I think this movie has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In ‘00, DreamWorks released this, The Road to El Dorado, their most accomplished movie. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "both is good", a scene so wonderful, most people probably don't know the real meaning.. But they should, because it's not just about unrequited love, and gold, it's also a personal statement about the movie industry. HEY MIGUEL!

Do you like Radiohead? The early stuff was a bit too derivative for my tastes, but when the first true album came out in '00, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clean, shimmery sound, and a new sheen of lyricism that really gives the songs a big boom. They've been compared to Pink Floyd, but I think this band has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In '00, Radiohead released this, Kid A, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "How to Disappear Completely," a song so wonderful, most people don't really know the real meaning... But they should, because it's not just about dissociation, and fear, it's also a personal statement about the music industry. FASTER JONNY!

Actually, this piece could be on a Golden Record 2.0 to represent electronic music and human development.

Admittedly, I think Vangelis might have taken some inspiration from "Clair de lune" when composing the music for Blade Runner. Though I have heard he basically improvved it while watching the film.

Do you like Little Big? Their recent work is a little too generic for my tastes, but when With Russia From Love came out in '13, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a raw, crisp sound, and a new sheen of self awareness that really gives the songs a big boost. They've been compared to Die Antwoord, but I think Ilya has a far more slav, almost gopnik-like outlook on life. In '15, Ilya released this, Funeral Rave, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Big Dick", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about his big dick, it's also a personal statement about the music industry. NO FUTURE, NO RICH, THIS IS RUSSIA BITCH!

Look in my eyes, what do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
I'm the cult of personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always

Life for you, has been less than kind
So take a number, stand in line
We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt
How we survive, is what makes us who we are
I can't think of anything clever.

Actually, the scene from American Psycho goes:

"Do you like Huey Lewis and The News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself."
