Uranus is a gas giant. Being the seventh planet, 20 times further from the Sun than Earth is, it's very cold and dark up there. It usually only shows itself through a telescope, but can sometimes be seen with bare eyes. It is massive, being 14 times heavier than Earth and 4 times as fat. Despite this, it is mainly made out of methane and ammonia and can get somewhat windy. It has 27 moons, quite a few rings, and occasionally leaks out giant gas bubbles. It spins on its side because two big planets wrecked him billions of years ago, and its bottom pole faces a bit up from its orbit. Therefore, the Sun doesn't shine on a hemisphere at a time. It has only been probed once in 1986 by Voyager 2, which only saw a flat and dull part of the bottom pole. When its front side came into view, all the windy bits started showing, and it caused somewhat of a storm. Some have proposed probing it again and shoving something into its interior at full speed, but people do not seem completely convinced. Some say hard things rain down on it, likely diamonds of a few carats large. Some would rather not spend much time there and use it to bump it over toward some foreign objects. Needless to say, Uranus could be rather interesting to examine, even if it's the butt of too many jokes to count.
