I'm fine, Finch. ... well, I'm a bit antsy from sheer lack of anything to do around here, but until the pink woman changes her mind about letting us leave...

Where'd that pink woman go, anyway? We haven't seen her in a long while...

Vivi winces. "Why do my teeth suddenly hurt...?"

After spending some time searching for Vivi, Mettaton rolls into here.

HELLO THERE, BEAUTY! SINCE I WAS TOLD TO FIND YOU BY THAT WEIRD PINEAPPLE AND I WAS WONDERING IF YOU CAN GRAB ME A COUPLE OF THINGS FOR MY PERFORMERS IN MY UPCOMING SHOW, MURDERFREE'S GOT TALENT! FIRST, SOME EXORCIST GIRL NAMED ELIZABETH TOLD ME THAT THEY NEED A... "CREEPY ANIMATRONIC", SPECIFICALLY ONE FROM SOME "FAZBEAR ENTERTAINMENT". I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE, BUT THEY SOUND LIKE SOME RIPOFF OF MY BRAND. HOW PITIFUL.

NEXT, SOME AMATEUR PARACHUTIST FOX DOG... THINGY NAMED BOW ASKED FOR SOMETHING THAT CAN SOFTEN A FALL FROM THE ROOF OF THIS HOTEL TO THE STAGE I JUST BUILT OUTSIDE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT, BUT I'M SURE THAT YOU CAN FIGURE SOMETHING OUT. THAT'S ALL I NEED FOR NOW.

"Sure, I can handle those... where do you need the landing thingy, precisely?"

[Caret]

ACTUALLY, I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHE-

Suddenly, an Eevee dashes behind Mettaton and interrupts him.

Dead center of the stage outside, please!

WERE... WERE YOU FOLLOWING ME THIS WHOLE TIME, DARLING?

Yes, I was indeed following you this whole time, only because I'm excited for this!

"Dead center of the stage, got it." Vivi flows out of the chair and onto the floor (cats are liquid!) and then stands up. "Let's get going, then," she says, and heads out to the stage.

[Caret]

Mettaton (and Bow) also make their way to the stage, and Mettaton then proceeds to inspect the stage to make sure it meets his standards.

OH YES, THIS STAGE HAS RECEIVED THE MTT SEAL OF APPROVAL! ONE DAY, I HOPE TO MASS-PRODUCE THIS STAGE IN THE FORM OF THE MTT-BRAND DIY PERFORMER'S STAGE... SORRY! LOOKS LIKE I'M GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF. HEH.

"Right," Vivi says, ascending the stage. "Dead center, you said? And how big, you think?"

[Caret]

ASK THAT FOX-DOG THINGY WHO TOLD ME TO GET THIS FOR HER, NOT ME!

Well... I think something that is around 10 by 10 feet would work just fine for my purposes.

"Right." Vivi takes a deep breath.

Vivi Elakha readies Pink Smoke Construction.

A cloud of pink smoke forms on her right hand...

... casts Pink Smoke Construction.

... and she waves the smoke across the stage, where it settles into a 10'x10' square and coalesces into a landing pad.

She steps on the pad and bounces on it to test it out. "This should protect you from any kind of fall damage. And it can be removed easily enough when your act is done so it won't interfere with the others'."

[Caret]

Oh, thank you. Now I'm all ready for my act. Time to show the world that we can indeed have a Flying-type evolution!

NEXT ITEM ON THE AGENDA: WE NEED A CREEPY ANIMATRONIC FROM "FAZBEAR ENTERTAINMENT", WHATEVER THAT IS.

"Right, I'll need some help from the person asking for that one."

[Caret]

Suddenly, Mettaton's voice can be heard ringing from the stage.

ATTENTION ALL MURDERFREE'S GOT TALENT PERFORMERS! PLEASE REPORT TO THE STAGE SET UP OUTSIDE. I REPEAT, PLEASE REPORT THE STAGE OUTSIDE. PLEASE, AND THANK YOU!

[Kennifer]

And with that, both Alexis and Amanda head outside.

[Cassie]

After finishing the stage, Moona falls off by accident.

"Ow! Oh, wait! Right. Moona here!"

She sees Amanda and Alexis.

"Oh, hey! Who are you two?"

[Caret]

NOW, BEFORE WE START OUR FABULOUS SHOW... I AN SOMEBODY HERE FLIP THE SWITCH ON MY BACK?

Vivi notices the very large blatant switch.

"... that's probably not a terrible idea at all in any way," she mutters, and flips the switch.

[Dookie]

Elizabeth runs outside, excited to perform.

[Caret]

DID YOU. JUST FLIP. MY SWITCH?

Suddenly, the boxy body of Mettaton starts to shake wildly and a blinding light then consumes the entire stage and everyone near it.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yes!

That's the first thing everyone hears after the blinding light disappears. The stage is now covered in fog, but the outline of a humanoid-looking robot standing in the place of Mettaton can be made out. Suddenly, some stage lights turn on and the fog is pushed back, revealing this lovely figure.

If you flipped my switch, you must be desperate for one thing. It's time... for the premiere of the latest show from the mind of me... MURDERFREE'S GOT TALENT! And in my new body, no less! Ooh-la-la! Tonight, 7 competitors will perform on stage  to try and give everyone here a performance of their life! And that's not all! One lucky winner tonight will be walking off with 10,000 GOLD and an MTT Brand Certified Performer's Certificate! Will our performers dazzle and entertain their way to the A-list? Or will their brief stint in performing flop harder then a fish? Let's tune in and find out... NOW!

Mettaton then walks off stage to give way to the first performance. (And yes, this is being broadcasted live in-universe, so you can have your characters react from the safety of the cubes! :])

Whilst still complaining under his breath over not lasting past the second day in Decrypto, Henka finds the big stage Moona built, and Elizabeth as well.

"Oh! Hey Elizabeth!" He waves at her whilst still holding a big trash bag, though his expression has a hint of bitterness to it, stemming from what happened in the aforementioned game.

Both Moona and Henka quickly notice Mettaton's transformation, but by the time Henrik reaches there, the transformation sequence is already over.

"WHOOOOA!!"

"Huh? What's going on here?"

[Zanreo]

First one up on stage... is a glitch Pokemon who mostly just looks like a mess of red pixels.

"Hey, I"m Fuiji... and today... I will sing for you...

[Cassie]

Immediately Henrik hides behind Henka in fear.

"O-OH OH SHIT-"

"...bruh, what're you scared about?"

"T-THAT!" Henrik points at Fuiji.

Moona is still taken aback by how Fuiji looks, but decides to accept her offer.

"Y'know, yeah, you perform first, building this stage has been so tiring for me..."

Oh yes! As if we couldn't wait for any longer... here's our first performer... the glitchy... signer... thingy... FUIJI!

Mettaton suddenly gains afeeling of unease near Fuiji, but shakes it off

In the meanwhile, Bow, who is looking on from the back of stage, is feeling physically uncomfortable right now.

I don't know how to explain it, but I feel... off right now.

"Ooh, another singer! I'm guessing we've probably got very different genres, though."

Alexis and Amanda are both waiting offstage for their respective turns.

[Cassie]

Moona has gone offstage all the while. She notices Bow talking on how she feels off.

"Whoa! You can talk?"
