That seems to be the most likely option. Either that or the cult chose not to kill anyone to grant credence to someone's claim, but that doesn't seem to be something that would have happened.

...I'd also LOVE to know how a real brown hair was near Freddy. It's possible someone found one of my or Kondraki's hairs that had fallen out and planted it to throw us off... but I don't see how that helps us figure out who did that.

I think we simply need more time to collect our thoughts and find out who could be responsible. I don't think that Z is being mistruthful though, that does not sit right with me.

They could have roles that would make them a target, yes.

...It would at least say that the Soul is probably not a Gunner. Which, I admit I have considered what positions could get a person dead by visiting them, since we've been dropping off fruit gifts. Last night I felt Kondraki probably wasn't a Gunner, and Chip was just so tickled by that joke, we just HAD to... but we've probably made our point by now. Don't want to run into anyone dangerous by accident.

Chasing down unclaimers is something that needs to happen, but given everything, any of them could just be a paranoid gunner. So we should be looking into the given claims, however I see no contradictions. I struggle to see what we can do right this moment.
