She does smile a bit at Samantha though. "Ah, yes I am. Pippin here is small and mischievous, so I thought it a fitting name. At least I did when I was a kid and read the series the first time. 'Though I suppose I could've called him Samwise too, because he's such a loyal friend."

She decides to pointedly ignore any further talk of eating Pokemon, especially the ribbing from Mike.
