Yep. Hitomi was a zombie before she got turned into a cat toy by a ferocious saber-tooth tiger, Blaine responded to X. This of course happened before you arrived. Shame you missed it. It was quite a good show.

Well... If memory serves, the footprints were vaguely similar to Hitomi's.
Unfortunately, that doesn't narrow it down much.
Everyone suspected happens to look pretty much the same.
And evidence which would implicate Mr. Calvin would instead be implicating Komaru, who looks the same.
