"Jeez, and what was all that bullshit for then? What sort of "gift" is getting your ass zombiefied?"

Sayaka clenches her fists, visibly pissed-off. "I swear on my life that I will never become one of you! And I'm gonna make sure you don't hurt anyone ever again! You'll regret messing with me!"

...then the execution happens, and Sayaka freezes, her face quickly turning white.

Eyja is also disturbed by Hitomi's revelation as she says, "You... You're a monster, like the Mephisto boy I've been hearing of! It's like trying to turn an Infected into a possessed. Why does this world have to house something as cruel as you...?"

She then witnesses the execution. Or at least hear the sound of Hitomi being feasted upon by two animals, as well as possibly what sounds like the gurgling of blood or some strange sound from the throat being destroyed. She can't see it just as clearly, but she can tell Hitomi is suffering a painful death.

Bob can be seen crying, as Stuart tries to comfort him.

"...Don't worry, Bob, we won't get infected if we do well!"

"Did you see what Hitomi looked like!? [more crying]"

...nah, Tina's not a zombie. She's just groaning. Then she starts hyperventilating. That was extremely unpleasant to watch holy crap.

The Clonelands seem unsurprised by the brutality of the execution. It's like they've seen this sort of thing before. But they quickly gather their wits. They passed in their plan a while ago, all that's left is to deal with new information overlooked in previous times.

Well. That crisis is averted.

But someone said there were many footprints.

Well. 

It may not be as averted as previously thought.

For a while now, Hitomi has just been silently seething on the ground where the Clonelands were holding her. But as the final vote is cast to seal her fate... a facade suddenly drops.

"... I was trying to turn him. You don't know what it's like. You don't know what you're missing, this connection, I'm finally whole, I just want to share this gift with the world!"

She lets out an unsettling laugh. "I tore his throat out so he wouldn't scream. I intended that to be temporary, he'd have healed if he'd just turned."

Struggling, she turns her head to face the crowd. "Why won't you join us?"

“WE GOT YOU BAD GUY!!!”

“But…it could spread…IT COULD SPREAD….”

To recap for those who missed it: Herlock Sholmes was killed last night by the zombies by biting him in the neck and throwing him in the water. Hitomi was caught and executed, but there were two sets of footprints on the beach, which have now washed away.

Smily is entering as Charles Calvin and Cutbug is entering as X.C.O.P.Y. They are replacing Huney and Door.

[Amidst all the chaos, a tall, cyan-haired young man stands in the corner. Wait, how long has he been there? He looks like he's about to say something, but upon seeing everyone else's distressed faces, pauses. Then, in a dissonantly enthusiastic whisper, he finally asks...]

Oh... Hello. Amelia greets the newcomers. I'm Amelia, Dr. Frankie's friend. I can't stay very long, but she's been kidnapped and I'd like to get her back.

Day 2 Challenge

Blaine and Amelia want a plan to rescue Frankie. Can you figure out a way to:

1. Neutralize the zombie bees so you can get through
2. Find transportation for all of you to Victoria's camp
3. Get through the defenses around Victoria's camp
3. Find wherever Frankie is being held within the camp so you can bring her back

Plus, two people seem to have been zombified. They killed Herlock Sholmes last night. ...One of them was Hitomi. She's already been caught and executed.

We won't do the exact same thing to the other zombie. But... we will have to stop them.
