Frankie lifts a tentacle into a shrug, looking nervous, but adding what she had to say. I'd only seen other octopi until we made contact with the humans. Who still don't always treat us like equals, but that's just how it is sometimes for some people.

At Lance's exclamation, Ivi swims up and splashes him a bit, playfully. "Hey, I get it, cops suck, but I mean. They're already on my tail anyway, and it's not like they'll ever catch me! So I figure, just live it up! Not like the hosts will let cops arrest you mid game; that's not what makes profit."

"I d...don't think cops are um, after me... or they sh...shouldn't be, I don't think I've done a...anything illegal..."

...of course, Tonya still sounded a bit nervous about being on TV again; the last game show she was on was kind of weird. This one should be fine though, right?

I hope you're right, Ivi. This is kinda a nice place. But I'll say this though. If at all during this game or after, the second they come by, then I will fight my way through.

Holy... They're trying to chase you down for being the way you are? To... test you? Shit. I guess I heard a story or two about that happening to a person or two when we contacted humans. Never... never was sure how much truth there was in it, honestly. No one my family knew personally, anyway.

They bred me...turned me into...what I am, and basically just tested me out and stuck me in a cage for 3 years or so...only escape a few years back. Now, they're just trying to find me...it puts a lot of stress on me. Just...please don't tell anyone, ok? They're probably gonna have a car set up at the studio if they even spot me here.”
