For future reference, if you're going to use a role like that, here's how I'd do it. (Mostly based on the Glitch role in some Trouble in Terrorist Town servers and showcased in Yogscast videos.)

• Doesn't see scumchat, if it's available to the actual scum. While alive, could anonymise/disable scumchat and/or even split the scumteam into Traitors.
  
• Investigative results imply they're scum. (Mostly as a nerf to the second part of the above.)
  
• Scum are warned about it in their role PM. ("One of your 'partners' is actually Town/a [role].", "Your possible partners are:")
  

I did try and mention that there were only three evil players, I did not mention it enough, and that's on me.

Another little thing: obviously, the "Glitch" doesn't get to know who the scum team is immediately, which you've done.
My idea has no investigative capacity at all...

I understand.

If I was scum that last game, I'd have been careful with who I PMed. And if we got caught like what just happened, I'd have called BS on Florien's role, or at least accuse them of naming random people, and changed my vote to them.
