After Xue's words, her pet Pokemon, Larson, comes out of his Pokeball. One of the souls comes out of the ground and possesses the creature. He looks at Xue with bloodlust before he lunges at his owner and slashes into her, bites her. Xue is bleeding profusely from her wounds, but she's still alive. Just then, Larson grabs a hold of her and they both catch on fire. Unlike before, Larson is burning not only Xue, but himself. Both scream in pain as the fire gets hotter and brighter, spreading a few yards from where they are. Eventually, as the fire gets hotter, it glows white. Everyone has a brief glimpse of both Xue and Larson explode, their bodies disintegrating, the remains dissipating into the flames. Right before the fire gets too hot and bright where it briefly blinds everyone present. After a moment, the fire completely disappears, leaving a smoking crater where Xue and Larson once stood. Scorched earth was all that remained. Nothing at all resembling Xue and Larson was present. For their bodies were burned away from existence itself. All of a sudden, the souls rise out of the ground and grab both their souls and burrow back into the ground.

You guessed correctly. Xue was the Dark Creature. This has never happened before. My Possessed have always killed the others, even before I kill them. This is impossible. You are all nothing but fools....

Abigail then caught sight of the execution. By then, she has gotten used to their brutality and she's happy that they voted out the last murderer correctly. Yet she couldn't help but pity both Xue and Larson.
"Well, it's over now..." She commented. "Agatha, what will you do now?"

Taira shoots a look at Abigail that says she's slightly offended. Not much, just slightly.

...I guess we did do it. Yeah.

Should we give Delilah that pyre sendoff? And for the rest. We... wouldn't be here without their sacrifices.

The Forest itself shakes, causing trees to tumble down, narrowly missing everyone. Then the skeleton from her burnt down shack rises up. A ghostly essence approaches it and glows. It reforms. And you see her. The woman you've all seen in your dreams. The tall dark-haired one in the dark dress and flowery bonnet. Except a few differences. The flowers in the bonnet look dead. And instead of a human face, there are black-and-red demonic eyes. Teeth that are razor-sharp like a vampire. While she looked like a normal human in your dreams. Now, she looks like a demon.



Souls rise out of the grave behind her.

Destroy these fools!

Gene shows up.

We've weakened her. Help me fight her off. We can still get out alive.

The souls start charging everyone, while Gene starts reciting a chant, trying to remember how it goes.

Abigail stops what she's doing and heads over to Gene.
"I'll try to help! I know at least the basics of witchcraft!"

You've made a salt circle. But some of the souls aren't that phased by them as they knock you and Gene down.

Damn! Come on, focus!, Gene tells himself before trying the chant again.

Taira grunts in frustration, but also helps out. She > Also joins in with the chant, and pricks her finger again to make another circle with her blood, which has salt and iron. It may just be a silly superstition, but that's seemed to work lately, so... and it worked yesterday...

You manage to keep the lot of the souls at bay. And you aid Gene in the chant, even remembering parts of it should there be time to repeat it again.

Silver laid down, but it doesn't do much. The spirits are lifting up Gene. But he is still going on into his chant. More passionately than ever.

Eventually Agatha screams as she's lifted up into the air, her body glows white until she becomes something of a silhouette. And then, KA-BOOM! Her body blows up into a million pieces. Gene falls back to the ground. Hurt, but still alive. The firewalls clear up. And then the earth shakes once again before hundreds and hundreds of souls rise out of the ground. Lots of them going into the Heavens. Some of them still remain in front of you, thanking you all for freeing them. And you even see the ones who were killed before.

You see the spirits of Xue and Larson, moving between the incorperal and reality.

"...Kinda fucking disappointed that bitch's gone. Won't lie."

"No...no...nonono...NONONO..." After shaking her head widlly in disbelief, Quinarva glares at everyone. "I gave my life for you all, and this is the thanks you give me?! You traitors! Filthy devils! If they will give me just one more chance..."

Abigail watches the souls emerge from the ground and ascending from the heavens. The souls within her however, are pushing towards her organs.
"How come they get to be free?"

For once, Abigail manages to ignore them as she recognized some of the departed.

"Crow. Susan. Cats. Quinvera. Fentiriss. Lukanios. Khaleed. Xue. And all of the other souls. I am deeply sorry you have to go through Agatha's cruelty. I hope that all of you will be able to find peace in the afterlife."

"Hypocrite." The voices snarked.

Abigail didn't even bother listening to them. Even if she didn't find the peace she desired, she was at least joyous seeing the departing souls find theirs.
