"Oh, no..." Entrapta looks sadly at the two. Not only were they so happy and optimistic/worried about getting out of here alive...they died in that same univestigatable way as Coldsteel.

"I roleblocked Ctharlak. Just like you said. So, statistically speaking, unless I was too late, that means..." Her jaw dropped.

Always the one you put the most trust in, huh?

Kanade wakes up late... Again.

... Well... I did what you planned earlier and protected Entrapa, and...

Kanade looks at the body...

"They were the best friends I had here..."

Michelle looks quite solemn this morning.

well, that actually tells us nothing directly.

That means whoever did this is smart enough to figure out the one way to get around my thing and figured out my exact deception, and that the murder team isn't specifically Michelle and the servant of the king or whatever.

So the team is probably Selen(ium) and that aforementioned Servant. I cant' be the killer, You can't be the killer, Kanade can't be the killer, and Sega is probably not the killer.

"Of course not, why would Sega off himself? Unless he figured we'd have him killed anyway."

[Kennifer]

"Why were you suspicious of me anyway, can I ask? I've already said I'm nowhere near physically strong enough to rip a robot's arm off or strangle someone with bedsheets. Is it because I didn't have a role to claim past being linked with the Alphas? Or because I like keeping my own consciousness?"

Michelle takes a deep breath.

"I... need to find out who killed my friends."

Basically, we have these options for who the team of killers are. It could be Ctharlak and Selenium, Ctharlak and Neptune, Selenium and Michelle, Selenium and Neptune, or Neptune and Michelle.

Neptune appears three times, but in unlikely combinations, and we know one of them figured out the only way to avoid my plan's direct detection or possibly simply blundered around every trap I laid.

Oh, and no, I meant Neptune, not sega. sorry I misspoke. It's hard to keep track of words sometimes.

"I mean you were pretty open and vocal about your plan. Unless you were sneaky and swapped people you hadn't mentioned, which... I don't know you enough to know if you'd do that.

At any rate, you should know that as the other member of the Alphas there's no way I could've..."

Her voice trailed off. She... didn't want to look at the corpses of her friends.

Entrapta stares blankly. "Nep...tune? Is Neptune one of the 8's?" She looked around, but uh...who and where was Neptune right now?

"Honestly, since Michelle was around Nintendo and Sega the most, it's possible she knew their weaknesses. But Ctharlak was expressing hope to kill people back at the start of the game. Selenium, she just does seem like the type to kill someone mercifully like this."

... Wait... Neptune? What's going on? Why is there a new person here? ... And for that matter... Where's Gundham? ... I... I'm just trying to grasp my head over the sudden cast change... Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Entrapta becomes more visibly upset. "That's what happened? Oh, great! Now we'll never know if Gundham was one of the killers!"

[Kennifer]

"Maybe our new arrival will be more... attentive than the one she replaced? Anyway I'd guess Neptune would inherit Gundham's role. That's how it works, right? I think Lucintsea replaced... Tao, was it? And I'd guess inherited the role."

"Sorry, trying to wrap my head around... last night."

[PopcornPie]

"So that means Neptune would have inherited Gundham's role, should he have been a killer. Doesn't really narrow anything down. I guess we have to go over what we did last night again. I assume being possessed would feel like your mind blocked out a memory when it was over."

[Kennifer]

"Well, as usual I just went to bed. I was a bit concerned I might die due to the plan, or that if I was swapped with Kanade that I'd be targeted in order to kill her, but... my friends died instead."

I'm trying to get my head around this... Kanade says they blocked Entrapta... but what exactly did the others who could do something do? I take it Lucintsea did something a bit different than she had said yesterday.

"I blocked Ctharlak. If Kanade protected me, that likely means someone tried to go after me."

[Kennifer]

"I appreciate it. They were… a bit naive but I liked their determination, and they were friendly to everyone. Definitely a bit of brightness in this dark situation, and… I know I needed that, at least."

Okay… this is getting nowhere. Michelle is going to try to focus. Where were the others, and what might they have to say?

Sorry, I meant protect you, yes. Kanade protected Entrapta, and Entrapta blocked Ctharlak.

Whoever the killer is must've cleaned up nicely. You don't find anything.

Entrapta is in more than a little despair. "I just don't think we can handle this. We don't have what we need to socially deduct. Just because there's fewer survivors now doesn't mean we'll have a better chance of finding the killer." She sighed.

Well... maybe. But let's not give up yet.

But yeah, I'm trying to get the full picture of what happened last night. Since it's possible people switched something up. Kanade says she protected Entrapta, who says she blocked Ctharlak. So he at least didn't do last night. And Lucintsea seems to insinuate she did something the killer evaded. but what that was exactly I don't think she's confirmed. Unless she just meant the plan in general which was discussed yesterday.

"Discussed in the open, probably the reason why the killer knew what to do. For both of them to be dead, either two killers worked together, or finished off one of them before the other was able to escape for help, brought him back to bed, and finished the job. Doesn't look like either one of the duo was killed in any way except suffocation."
