Loud, horrific laughter can be heard from somewhere far outside the cabin, momentarily drowning out the howl of the blizzard.

Then, a deep, multi-toned, reverbral voice strikes the ears of everyone in the cabin that hears it, seemingly coming from said faraway place.

"TRY AND BREAK OUT WITH ALL OF YOUR MIGHT, IT'S ALL WORTHLESS IN THE END! ALL OF YOU WHO'RE DESTINED TO BE MY SACRIFICES SHALL MEET THEIR END IN THIS EVERLASTING COLD AND IT'S SHELTER'S FALSE PROMISES OF COMFORT AND RELIEF!"

Silence. But just as the blizzard's howl starts to pick up again...

"AND SLOW DOWN WITH YOUR YIP-YAPPING! TO MY SACRIFICES, NOT MY SERVANTS, YOU'RE ALL DOOMED IN THE END! TRY AND VOTE THEM OUT AS MUCH AS YOU DARE, ALL YOU WANT, YOU WILL BE INCAPABLE OF FINDING THEM UNTIL...IT'S TOO LATE."

Turning to the mysterious ...? room, she puts her ear up to the door.

Terrifying... but oh-so intriguing! Truly a masterpiece in the making...

Nellie does not take kindly to the revolution of what he's really doing here. "SHIT. The so-called "hiking trip" is actually a cover-up for a ritual sacrifice, just like I was starting to suspect. Oh, I'm screwed... I'm so screwed... what if they found me and tricked me into coming here..."

She wasn't going to discount the possibility that it was the crazy death priest throwing their voice, though. Sure, the voice didn't sound the same but... well, a GOOD ventriloquist does a bunch of voices, right?

Or, there was the more distinct possibility that she was, in fact, very screwed.

Look... Let me pull myself together... We have to think logically. I don't know what else has been going on, but there is a dead person here. That, at least, is undisputable, and I'd like to find out what happened to them.
