Wendy: 3; You... can see slash marks and the small burn marks.

"Okay wow, that's awful! Hey, Dookie? Are you seeing any more evidence? Because I'm having trouble focusing... when I get home I should probably get my parents to call an optometrist or something."

[Dookie]

“Hmm....I'm seeing what looks like knife cuts and some...burns? Maybe even from electricity?”

He ponders on this for a second.

[Kennifer]

"Okay, so we should look for knives, and anything electric?"

[PointMaid]

Lotta shows up. She looks like she's wearing an entire fruit stand on her head, Carmen Miranda style. She reaches up with a toothpick to stab a piece of pineapple to stick in the piña colada she's drinking.

Hey, guys! Keep at it! I just wanted to remind you that if you don't figure out whoever killed Hank by nightfall, whoever did it will be signed to our standard STAR contract! Of course, if you'd rather that didn't happen, you have until then to figure that out. Bye now!

"Oh hey, I have some sketches of the footprints near Hank if anyone wants to help solve that..."

"Oh hey, I have some sketches of the footprints near Hank if anyone wants to help solve that..."

“May I see?”

Dookie had a hunch for who killed Hank...this footprint might just prove it.

[Kennifer]

Wendy hands over her sketches.

[Dookie]

“Hmmm...it kinda looks like a Pokemon footprint.”

Dookie: 7; As far as you can tell, that's exactly what he died of.

[Dookie]

“Hmmm...where's Ash?”

> Look for Ash, and then recite this to him:

“So...this Hank guy died of fright...and all I'm seeing in evidence is pointing to you...one of your little pets’ footprints in the...was it grass or concrete? Anyway, I know it's you. What do you have to say about yourself? Why did you kill him?”

Ash glares at Dookie. "He died of fright, and I don't have a Ghost-type Pokémon with me. What's the footprint look like, anyway?"

His Pokémon are still out, and a quick glance at their feet would show the following:



(And Dracovish doesn't have an official footprint image cos they stopped those a few generations ago, but you can take a guess from its appearance)

"Are there moves other than Ghost moves that can scare somebody though?"

Ash ponders this. "... I guess any move could frighten someone to death, if they were easily scared enough. But at some point, the move's physical effects would kill them faster than terror, even if they were that scared."

[Dookie]

“So what if they just scared somebody to not look suspicious? So that Hank would have no marks, instead of a bunch of tiny scratches?”

"That's not impossible, but I didn't get the impression that Mr. Hill was that easily frightened."

[wingedcatgirl]

"Easily startled, maybe, but not frightened."

[Kennifer]

"Yeah, he didn't seem like somebody who could get scared to death that easily, unless you grilled with charcoal or something. And then he probably would've just gotten annoyed rather than died. So whatever it was had to be REALLY scary..."

Wendy: 10; It's not any of the non-human toons. And the pokemon you see in front of you that Ash has shown... some might be kinda close but not exactly. It's more like . It definitely looks like a pokemon, though. ...Ugh, you got so close to their feet they smell!

Kai: 5; You find the others in Costume and Makeup.

[Dookie]

"Well are there any humans here with three toes? That sure looks like a pokemon to me."

Wait... you need information about Pokemon... since we're all toons, from animated series, surely we can find some source material to check some facts against, right?

[Dookie]

Dookie stares off into the distance and has a war flashback.
