Kai finally rocks up to the crime scene, just in time to hear Dookie's statement.

Er... sounds like I missed something fucking important.

[Kennifer]

"Mr. Hill got scared to death by something."

... are you fucking serious?

[Kennifer]

"Yeah! I have no idea what could have done it though. It must have been really bad..."

[Dookie]

"Hmmmmmm..."

"So if nobody will admit it, I guess we're on our own."

Dookie: 9; I'm not sure how you know this, but this was definitely not a run-of-the-mill heart attack. Or a heart attack at all.

Wendy: 10; You work yourself into a fright *trying and imagining* to find anything in the immediate area that scary... and not finding anything.

"Gaaahh! Okay, I don't know what I'm looking for. What could scare someone like Mr. Hill, do you think?"

[PointMaid]

Kai: 6; You're... not really seeing anything that scary that is visible to you now? I mean, some of the scenery from a halloween special or the accounting books, but that's amateur...

Well, I've got nothing... unless... wait wasn't there some kid with monster things... Pokemon? Could one of those scared the guy?

Ash drifts in, aware via some handwave of the state of the crimes, and begins to >search the scene for any clues.

Ash belatedly notices Kai's statement. "Sure, a ghost Pokémon could've scared Mr. Hill to death easily enough. They've got lots of scary moves that could do that. I'm the only one that has Pokémon, though, so that doesn't help us."

[PointMaid]

Ash: 8; Oh, you found footprints! Don't they look like the ones just... behind... your feet right now?

[Kennifer]

"Well, what kind of Pokemon do you have? Any of the scary ones?"

[wingedcatgirl]

Ash takes three Poké Balls off his belt and tosses them forth, and out pop a Dragonite, a Lucario, and a Sirfetch'd. Pikachu is still following Ash around as usual, and by this point everyone probably knows about Dracovish, who's still in the pool.

"These are the Pokémon I'm traveling with right now... They don't really have any Ghost-type moves."

[Kennifer]

"What kind of moves do they know, then? And has your other one been in the pool the whole time? I'm not accusing or anything, I'm just trying to figure out what around here could have been that scary."

Personally, Wendy didn't see how any of them could be that scary... especially the Pikachu, that one is downright adorable. Still, she remembered when everybody got obsessed with that... what was it, Chinpokomon? which was pretty similar and ended up being pretty dangerous.
