If so, best answers I could give...
I don't know why people don't like genderless Mx. Potato Head, except I assume they're not comfortable with the concept of genderlessness or androgyny in general.

Pepe Le Pew should not be giving kids the impression that it's okay to stalk and kiss people without their consent, though. (Certain adults could also stand to understand this...), and being okay with certain racial depictions or words was definitely more socially acceptable in the past. Often changed because those groups said to knock it off, please. (And yes, there are people up in arms that such things are being phased out... which...)

I know why people don't like Mx. Potato Head, and it has nothing to do with gender.

It's simply nostalgia and change. Mr. Potato Head is an icon.

Imagine if one of your favorite childhood toys suddenly had a new name and design. How would you feel?

They're not actually changing the Mr. Potato Head character. They're just changing the name of the brand. The Potato Head brand still consists of Mr. Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, and... whatever else, I dunno, I never followed it.
