I don't know why people don't like genderless Mx. Potato Head, except I assume they're not comfortable with the concept of genderlessness or androgyny in general.

Pepe Le Pew should not be giving kids the impression that it's okay to stalk and kiss people without their consent, though. (Certain adults could also stand to understand this...), and being okay with certain racial depictions or words was definitely more socially acceptable in the past. Often changed because those groups said to knock it off, please. (And yes, there are people up in arms that such things are being phased out... which...)

I know why people don't like Mx. Potato Head, and it has nothing to do with gender.

It's simply nostalgia and change. Mr. Potato Head is an icon.

We're feeling exhausted, like someone who keeps failing to get to bed on time, and also had to deal with an inordinate amount of crap yesterday. And also tense, like someone who tried using caffeine to counter their exhaustion but ended up somehow accidentally only getting the bad effects and not the good ones. (It seems completely random which set of effects we get.)
