"Only one set got ruined, remember? We couldn't ID three-toed feet before they disappeared, but there's only people here with two toes to begin with and we specifically tested that it wasn't you, Mawile, leaving Ted."

"Hmmm, is that so? Trying to remember what the prints looked like... did you check them against Ted's for sure, or just using the process of elimination?"

“And for the record, Ted hasn't said much since he came here. Why?”

"I admit it was process of elimination, but if it wasn't you, who else was it?"

“For all I know, it coulda been you. And also Guy comes to mind. Maybe he left claw marks. What do you think? Could he have killed Squirt? Possibly resisted the urge to make him into a Chim-Char-Broiled burger?”

"I am afraid there is no sign of any murder attempts. Wonderful on one level, but on the other, it certainly impedes our quest to root out the remaining killers."

"Yeah, it seems unlikely that any of the killers acted last night. Does anyone wanna check somewhere else to just.. Chill and not worry about the killings for a moment?"

"But the two-toed prints, I got nothin', other than Ted."

"Yeah... either Ted, or somebody faked them to frame somebody, like with the bite marks yesterday."

"Hm... so you are saying that, even with a deficit of new evidence, there are still those we should be suspicious of?"

[Kennifer]

"Well, I mean there are still killers, even if they got lazy last night. Addie and Sue were hunters, but I know there's still whoever the Ninja is, the one who got ATV. And we don't know if Addie and Sue were the ones who killed Squirt, either."

Look, we got one. I think we've gone one about Squirt's killer for too long now. I don't think that talking about it is going to yield results, so how about we just... make sure nobody else gets hurt? Everyone just buddy up with someone you trust and keep an eye on each other... does that sound like a good plan?

"I mean, on one hand... it's hard to know who to trust. On the other hand, strength in numbers and all that."

Or she could end up pairing up with the killer by accident and end up dead. That is a thing that was worrying.

Yeah... I guess it gets you paranoid, having to choose a non-killer to trust from a group of potential killers. I know who I want to trust, but I want to hear what everyone thinks first.

"Mawile does have a point. It is pretty risky. But on the other hand, no matter what happens, maybe we can actually catch someone in on the act."
