Still in pain, Libre rushes to the veggie aisle and topples all of those big baskets, leaving a multitude of veg on the floor.
He hides in one of the upturned baskets for shelter.

Libre crawls across the mall commotion under the basket he hid in.
Someone who looks like a 10-year old, with odd, nonhuman appendages on his back, casually strolls to look for a set of empty trashbags...and then spontaneously flings one stuffed with empty soda cans behind him.
