Mincer and I have put our heads together. For the second time in a row, congratulations to Adrien! ...He does seem to have a lot of experience in physical situations, doesn't he? I'm sure he must just work out, maybe he does gymnastics. Special mention to Badgerclops - no special prize for you, but a very strong showing!

We'll close the thread and go to Night Phase tomorrow morning (US).

Tina groans a little. On the one hand she's glad the cute guy isn't going to die tonight, on the other hand she thought she did really well. She even has rope burns on her hands from climbing the string.

It hasn't exactly been a good day for her anyway.

And suddenly Mincer is seen with the cat in the studio, now hog-tied.

Feisty cat, this one is. But just because I'm a mouse doesn't mean I can't handle cats!

He brands the cat, which yowls in pain as he takes in the sound of the sizzling and the smell of burnt fur. It's show he branded the cat with the logo for Schadenfreude Studios.

Lotta cackles. It's an unusual laugh, full and uninhibited but with something of a sinister undertone.

If none of you is willing to kill tonight, not only will we select one of you at random like the unfortunate doctor this morning. Your friends that you rescued from the helium balloon? There is a long, deep, sustained groan from Tina's general direction.

Pretty sure the contract only says you're immune to getting killed at night for this particular night, Adrien. Don't think it says anything about your friends. I can have my lawyers look, though. Lotta nods towards a wagon toting a contract two stories tall.

You wake up. You're cartoons again, so that's over. Did someone kill? Otherwise... You smell smoke. It's... from one of the Green Rooms. You track it to Magolor's Green Room. ... He's burned to ash in the middle of a burnt room of rubble.

Hmmm. Everything electrical in the room seems to be plugged into the same extension cord, which is definitely charred in the middle of the room.

On the one hand, Tina was glad to feel like herself again, and that none of the people she cared about from home were in danger right now, but on the other hand... there was a killer to find, which... yeah, she wasn't too happy about this even if she didn't know the victim.
