The Murder Challenge
I didn't prove anything about Selenium, nor Michelle. I proved that the killer is one of four people, and that it could be any of them. I was just going to go down the list, but there's a starting point which might mean we don't have to kill every single innocent.

Michelle could not be the killer in this particular case, but she could be one of the killers. If she isn't, we execute Selenium tomorrow.

If Selenium also isn't the killer and they take me tonight, then Kanade flips a coin the next night and protects either herself or Entrapta, and Entrapta blocks one of the two unclaimed survivors, also at random. That gives a 75% chance that the kill will fail.

If the kill succeeds, everyone dies. If it doesn't, you execute one, then block the survivor during the night and win the next day.
I am the They who says it!
She looks wearily at Lucintea. "At this point, is winning even worth it? We're just going to remember we did this to our friends and never be able to take any of it back. We should just rather be murdered."
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
If you live, even if you're... empathetic, you'll get over it eventually, with at worst, mental scars. Death is more permanent. Most likely you'll end up a glorified charging spire for some god or other.

And you'll still have the mental scars if you're dead, in most cases. Even if your soul is destroyed, that too would be plainly worse than a little... survivor's guilt.
I am the They who says it!
"So there's no way out unless I ceased to exist."
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
well yeah, but like I said, that would suck more than a couple mental scars. Now, maybe if you had Martyngale-inflicted scarring, that could make it reasonable to choose total elimination, but this is no Martyngale-level event. Nothing here even comes close to what the stories say she did.
I am the They who says it!
Entrapta just tilted her head, then sighed and rested her head on Michelle's shoulder. "The point is, I don't want to live knowing what we've done and are going to do to our friends."
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
Ctharlak awakens from their slumber, and surveys the scene.

The inseperable duo of mortals has perished, which certainly aids in narrowing things down. Can someone explain what is going on with these votes though?
hey who turned out the lights?
Then, a purple-haired girl runs into the scene...

"I have arrived! Now to..."

She looks around. "...Wait, what's going on here? Don't tell me I got sent into another one of those games...
Glitchy Bootleg Lasers
...Look, no matter what your plan is, I'm not going to help you just railroad Michelle with no evidence like you tried to do to me...

Then Selen(ium) sees the purple-haired girl. "...Ah. Hello?"

"Oh, hey! I'm Neptune! Number 1 Rated Protagonist 2010!" she says with a grin.
Glitchy Bootleg Lasers
Oh, this has happened again. A replacement for the one that smelled like hamsters, certainly.
hey who turned out the lights?
"Hi, Neptune. You've been in these games before, too? Then can you tell us if we're doing the right thing by killing Michelle?"
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
Oh hey, new people!

Kanade waves to Neptune. She also looks at Charlak as well to confirm his presence to her.

Please vote, by the way. :)
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...
I shall not cast a vote until I know what int the unname of the Monarch is going on. Explain, mortal.
hey who turned out the lights?
"Lucintsea wants Michelle dead because she thinks we'd get more information that way. Never mind that the information we have now points to Selenium..."
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
Okay. Here's the rundown:

- I protected Entrapa yesterday.
- Entrapa blocked you,
- And Luci swapped herself with Selen(ium).
- Nintendo and Sega are dead, and Michelle was their partner.
- Luci suggests going for Michelle, because if she's innocent, you're sussy, and if she isn't, you're good. There's also possibly the chance it's Selen(ium), but we don't learn anything new if we go for her.

Oh, so it's Selen(ium) and Neptune then? Because I know I'm good, so I know Michelle's good. Unless you have oversimplified it. Why won't we gain anything from Selen(ium)'s perishment?
hey who turned out the lights?
...Nintendo and Sega were the Alphas, and chose Michelle as their partner. Which going by the rulebook we were handed, means she couldn't be the one to kill them.

Selen(ium) doesn't look or sound very enthusiastic about any of this.

Not in THIS case, sure... But she still could be A killer, which...

Kanade is beginning to have second thoughts...

Ah, so I have misunderstood all of this, how unusually foolish of me. Michelle did not kill the duo, so you want her dead so that you have a chance of learning my alignment, for if she is guilty then I must be innocent, as someone must have killed the duo, however if she is innocent, we learn absolutely nothing other than her innocence, as it could be Selen(ium) and Neptune.

A pity that she does not seem all that guilty to me. Otherwise I would, indeed vote against her.
hey who turned out the lights?
"You were on to something, right Kanade? You wondered if Lucintsea could be lying."
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
It is impossible for Lucintsea to lie. For if they were lying about having their unique power, someone would have countered them.
hey who turned out the lights?
Yeah... But it makes you wonder... Why hasn't she been targeted by the scum yet? You'd think they'd go for the roles first to sabotage our chances... Like I said earlier in the week, I fully anticipated me and Entrapa to be dead in the next couple of days because we'd revealed our roles, and therefore, revealed put a target on our backs. But so far... We're alive. But why?
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...
"That's... pretty much what's happening, yes."

Michelle was looking a bit pale, but still despite everything she was trying to keep a brave face.
Stupid doomed timeline...
Perhaps the killer did not know what was happening... I shall let you dwell on that thought. In the meantime, it seems that, despite the so-called plan, you are all hesitant to eliminate Michelle. However, would eliminating this servant to the Unnamed Monarch also reach the same ends? Surely it would be easier on your mortal minds, and I have done much work for the Monarch already, and can be replaced with the slightest of efforts.
