The dream I remember best from last night: For some reason I had a karaoke machine installed at the antiques shop and was going through the catalog of songs it came with. My brother showed up to visit out of nowhere and was upset because I was out of milk. (Milk was not sus in this dream though). And I was trying to see if the karaoke machine had Britney Spears songs because I wanted to sing "Baby One More Time" for whatever weird reason but the only Britney song it had was "Toxic" so I sang that instead.

So I was with my family, and each one of us, my mom, dad, sister, and me, had to find 4 chests hidden around a Target to win $1 Billion dollars and a 1 minute shopping spree. I got all four before the other ones, so I won.

Just as I was done with my shopping spree, ransacking the vinyl section, getting as many video games on Xbox and Nintendo switch that I could, getting 3 nintendo consoles for me and my friends, a whole bunch of Amiibo figures, a diamond ring for my mom, a bike, the entire gift card section, a new TV, a bunch of DVDs, some cameras, literal money, and a couple of Funko Pops.

...I woke up.

I dreamed my hair had grown like a foot overnight so I had to re-cut my bangs and re-dye them purple since all the purple had grown out.

The only thing I remember about my dream is that I was back in high school.

I'm thirty-one years old. I've been out of high school longer than I was in it. Why am I still getting these dreams.

Dreamed that Jupiter died in the night. I was trying to prevent it. Or at least be the last thing he saw.

In this dream I had a completely different bedroom and I wanted to decorate it. Fortunately I had just gotten a package in the mail that was... supposed to be stuff I had put up for collateral in a lawsuit against a mattress company as well as some things I'd apparently won in the lawsuit. There was a stack of bumper stickers with funny sayings on them, one of my pillows (??), two nightgowns (one of which I'd put up as collateral and the other was new), jars of candies, a few other things I don't remember and the papers from the lawsuit. There may have been a check too because why would I get a nightgown, jars of candy, and bumper stickers for winning a lawsuit?

Anyway I was putting the stuff away in my room and deciding to buy a bunch of poster board to put the stickers on and decorate my wall with them. I heard noises under the bed. One of those robot dog things (the ones with fur that look somewhat realistic) came out from under the bed. I picked it up and switched it off. Then another robo-animal came out, this time a spider. I did the same (pick it up and switch it off). Then a very tiny black kitten came out and was running around. I picked it up too to see if it was robotic, but it was alive.

So I am holding this little black kitten (who needs a bath because it was under the bed and I guess it had gotten dirty under there) and it's just kinda squirming around and meowing very loudly at me, and I am trying to figure out how the heck a random kitten got under my bed...

and then I woke up.

So I had a few dreams:

1. The world has gone to chaos. Two political sides emerged, red, and blue. You were either fully red, or fully blue. And each wanted to kill the other. Me and my family were blues, and we were planning how to get blue to safety...when a red family member visited. We had to hide away and blue stuff, and for the time he came, he succesfully didn't find anything bad. Also my family gave me Raising Hell on vinyl so yay.

2. I played a supporting role in a superhero movie, and I and the movie won an oscar.

Custard was in my dream last night sort of!

I dreamed that one of the dealers at my shop kept labeling things with the wrong booth number and for some reason I needed to call Custard about this, but they weren't feeling well so they were taking a nap when I called and I woke them up.

...why I had to call them about one of my dealers at work I have NO idea lmao

Dreams are weird. They can be anything from hours to seconds long.

Yet they still have an impact. They know what gets you.

Like take my dream that I had, for example.

I was watching the evening news when lights started flashing (On the news) and a picture of Dookie came up.
The news anchor spoke.

"This unknown online person is wanted for-"

I didn't hear why. I was too busy freaking out.

The only dream I remember from last night was similar-ish, in that it lasted a few seconds and had no resolution.

It was about getting a PM from a murdergame host about a thing happening to me during day phase (somehow) with some kind of really ominous title (I forgot the exact wording and I think one of the words was not even an actual word) but I woke up before I could read it.

...I had no such private messages when I woke up, which is probably good.

Last night I dreamed I was going to reorganize my closet. Which started out normally enough with pulling things out of it to rearrange.

Except then my closet was... a lot bigger than it actually is, about the size of the rest of my bedroom. So I was stacking things in the back and working from the pile I'd made. And I kept getting distracted in things like "oh hey I didn't even know I owned this so I am going to try it on". And somehow I had bookshelves in there then too. And racks of clothing like in a store. And one of the racks was full of a bunch of the puffy shirts from Seinfeld. And somehow there were then other people in there so I was showing them the puffy shirts and saying Seinfeld quotes.

Dream from recently-ish:

I was in some kind of puzzle room at an amusement park, there were a few rooms, but the main one had a pic framed picture of an egg character, who would change depending on what you did in the room. I found a room full of treasure - golden objects and gems and stuff like that - then I started throwing them towards the entrance and the egg suddenly looked happy, surrounded by treasure, but I also got a message I should try finding all 4 things before time ran out. I didn't find anything else and the egg looked angry, and when passing by the pic later in the end it was just a pic of a fried egg.

Then, I was playing this Earthbound-like game, but... partially irl? At one part late in the game (at which point it had pretty much just turned real) I and the others were inside a cinema auditorium, and in the back there were tables with gifts and downloadable items and enemies that could be browsed on GBC and GBA consoles (I remember a realistic-ish crow and a more cartoony raccoon) and also various cool and fun glasses as gifts, I tried grabbing some purple ones. After this, there was some hard boss fight I don't remember much about

After THAT, I was suddenly walking back from a con somewhere, and on the way I saw tables with boxes of various manga for sale, including several volumes of New Game. I wanted to buy, but didn't know who or where to pay for it since no one was there (apparently this was connected to a shop that was a while away and too far to walk?) so I just left

One of my dream was about packing/cleaning something because I guess I was moving or something, and I was supposed to get a different career but I didn't want to because I liked my shop and thought I'd get fired.

The other was about trying to find somewhere to watch a tv show because in the house I lived in in my dream, everyone was watching some live news thing about... Ronald Reagan having had an illegal elephant so there was a trial going on. Also something about legally changing the word "blacklist" to "brownlist". and the tv in my room wasn't letting me change channels so I went to my shop, where I saw the guy who works for me on Monday... so I guess it was Monday in the dream? Anyway the really annoying dealer from work was also there and they were looking at this old town photo. I pointed at where the movie theater was going to be and said I wished I was there, except not because I wanted to watch sad movies. And then for some reason we had a tv in the office and we all started watching old Christmas movies.

There was also some part in some dream where I was going to go out for dinner with someone but I was trying to tame my hair first because it had gone very... weird and floof.

Alright, here's a weird one that I just had:

I was reading a fanfiction on Archive Of Our Own. It was a Fanganronpa (fan-made Danganronpa killing game) that had a metric fuckton of characters. I seemed to be writing a comment that was criticising the author for culturally appropriating stuff from Islam while also alienating anyone wo isn't Christian, but that was quickly dropped...

...To me being in the fic. I was walking around ths building where some of the characters lived. I couldn't recognise many of them, but one of them was Dr Jack Bright from the SCP Foundation. Then Maxwell from Housepets! arrived, telling the folks who lived in that building that either he or Helix from Freefall might be "voted out" for some reason, but they were tied. He also mentioned a couple of characters named Gash and Chomp, who I immediately assumed to be sharks in spite of never hearing of them.

We then cut to an "intro" that consisted of different characters entering the building. Among them were Peanut Butter Sandwich (also from Housepets!), PewDiePie, and NerdCubed. There were also a bunch of people I couldn't recognise.

Then I found the fic's Subreddit (because it was apparently that popular), which had a few shipfic prompt generators in the sidebar. They were all down; one was just plain down, one was hijacked by a Sidemen shipfic prompt generator, and one... well, there was a screen with Barry B. Benson proclaiming that the site was under construction (there was a bee pun somewhere), before a full-screen pop-up opened saying: "You have been diagnosed with gay 😳". It was true, but very rude indeed. My dream ended with me turning off my brother's laptop (which I assumed I was reading the fic on... why?), seeing a pixel art of Big the Cat, and then just kinda waking up.

was on the bus home from work (work from home? what's that?) very late at night and for some reason got off at my mom's house instead of my apartment

"oh shoot, guess I'll have to walk back to my dad's house" (because I apparently still lived there in the dream??) but I walked a little bit and realized I was too exhausted to do that so I stayed with my mom for the night

she and her husband (who is not my dad) were watching tv and I just kinda curled up in the living room but she said I should go upstairs and sleep in a bedroom

the room that used to be mine was open and had a thing on the door that put some basic housemate politeness stuff into tabletop rpg terms, but someone was sleeping there so i opened the door to the room that used to be my sibling's

it was empty and also looked the same as it did when my sibling still lived there, including their laptop still being on the desk

"oh good I can borrow that, because I somehow came here without literally anything I own including my phone and I'm so bored I can't sleep"

but I opened it up and everything was deleted when my sibling moved out so I just lurked for a bit

randomly the laptop prompted me to install linux and asked me to choose a theme from a list that all had snarky names about how they looked like windows because people are brainwashed into liking that

while it installed a random lady came in who was also going to sleep in that room

she made a comparison to being like my sibling in hopes of defusing the awkwardness of having to sleep in the only one bed but I grabbed half the pillows and blankets off the bed and told her I'd curl up on the floor like a cat

meanwhile the linux install was done but the computer dropped me directly into a smash bros clone for some reason. I somehow knew it was called "super (linux copy of mii) fighter" but I didn't know the controls so I just adjusted the difficulty futilely

someone was reminding me to go to bed but I was stuck trying to close the game until I woke up in irl

Had a dream that PointMaid was banned from this website for reasons we do not fully understand.

Also that I was performing on stage at some bar in Atlantic City on the boardwalk or something with my School of Rock with a broken finger or something.

I was in some weird nine-story building because I had a hotel room on the 8th floor. But I kept going to see what was on the other floors since not the whole thing was a hotel. Two of the floors had a shopping center on them, one of them was medical offices or something, one of them had restaurants, one had college dorm rooms (this I remember was floor 7, while 8 and 9 were hotel rooms, but I don't remember which of the other floors were which), I think one might've been a library or classrooms.

And (unlike my poor oc Amanda) I was taking the stairs up and down to check them out. At like... 1 in the morning for some reason.

OKAY HOLY SHIT this one was a doozy!

Part of it happened online (namely on TC and the Murderverse discord) and part was offline/"irl".

Anyway I had made some new friend, who I was planning on getting together with on my day off. (Pandemic was not a thing in the dream at all.) Anyway I was telling people about her on the Murderverse discord and was warned "no don't trust her she's an impostor! she's not who you think she is!". I disregarded the warnings and we went out for lunch and were shopping and talking and having fun... and all of a sudden she turned to me and her eyes flashed red and she put her hands on my shoulders. She said "THE INFECTION SPREADS". And somehow infected me. Possibly unrelated to .EXE but who knows. Anyway I got home and went back on Discord and TC and was talking about this incident. But things had happened while I was gone...

on Discord, there was this new subcategory of channels and a bunch of new people in the server. The subcategory was called... something to do with tuppers, and every single user had their own channel in it where they could do shit with their tupper bots to their hearts' content. Others could read it but not post there, so it was very much a "talk to yourself" thing. With solitaire games, somehow. Anyway I was going to mute them all except mine because I didn't wanna be getting a ton of notifs from people talking with their own tuppers, but I noticed that one of them had my RL name on it so that made me curious... and another had someone with a bunch of Danganronpa tuppers so I decided to leave those two unmuted as well as mine.

on TC, I came back to find several users had been banned and threads had been deleted and I was like "wait why are the mods not telling people why this happened" . It turned out that some people were clones of each other and the duplicates had to be "redacted" according to the mods. This sparked an entire thread about the ethics of cloning and the rights of clones. Also I was proud of myself because I had correctly (yet jokingly) guessed who one of the clones was.

The next day I went around at work touching people on the shoulders and saying "THE INFECTION SPREADS" to infect all of the custies in the store. Except one custy (who for some weird reason looked like Molly Weasley???) kept un-infecting herself and then tried to turn me grayscale.

So I was wandering around trying to get my color back, trying to infect people, and muttering about clones and then I woke up.

What. The. Fuck.

Why the fuck did I have to dream about a superhero growing up and getting accidentally vasectomied and therefore bullied by his peers before aging into his sixties and making a Native American yell and ripping the trash bag roof off of a football stadium to save his cheating wife?

recent dream: I was at an amusement park somewhere and they had this game where you had to hold on to a giant plushie for as long as you could, over a ballpit (or might have been filled with small cushions or something?) while a counter would count how many "rounds" you held on to it for (going from 1-9 and then counting 1 point every time it reached 9) And when you dropped down it would rain small plushies and figurines, you'd get more and better prices the longer you held on.
One of the giant plushies was a Yoshi and that was the one I chose, I only barely lasted 2 rounds as it quickly got harder to hold on to

This one isn't too weird, but I still find it interesting. It's a bit of a bad dream I had last night and I had trouble waking from it. Anyway, I'm a little kid in it. I'm on the computer and I complete three drawings when all of the sudden the computer has malware on it and all of the files on computer (including my drawings) get corrupted. I'm really upset over this (being a little kid) and start crying. I try to get other people to help me with the computer but no one does. The rest I kind of forgot

In the dream I was hanging out with some couple I was apparently friends with. We decided to go to the mall but all of the stores were closed for some reason. The guy in the couple didn't want to leave even though there was literally nothing to do there, and his girlfriend decided to side with him so we were just... sitting in this otherwise empty mall for a couple hours before leaving to go do something else. Guy got to pick again so we went to.. a church. Where no services were being held. And we didn't even go into the actual church part but rather the... whatever they call the area people gather in to chat after the services. Which was empty except for us. And again he did not understand why this was a boring thing to do.

...wut.

I had a dream which slowly took for the worse.

It started with me on a very large bus. I don't remember too much about this bit, but I was playing something on my Switch, or watching someone else do the same. I think Mario, Bowser and possibly Eggman (who had turned good or at least nice for now) were there.

From there, we got onto a cruise and set sail into the night. I was sitting with a girl this time. I think at one point either here or in the previous part, I became paranoid that someone was going to steal the stuff in my jacket pockets. I don't remember much here either.

The next morning, I was somehow on another bus that was returning me home. I thought it was the food I ate. Anyway, I managed to get onto the original bus, still headed for the same destination. On the inside, it was as long as at least 7 normal busses. It passed through a couple of streets with small red-brick houses on them. I found someone I knew from my old high school, who asked me to help locate a shop for him. I told him that unfortunately, I've mostly hung around the front of the bus. It then got onto a motorway, where things got real crazy.

A group of male students on the side of the road were blocking the motorway. I saw a number of them in a large circle. The bus stopped for a few moments. I overheard the driver mutter to herself about how they were

some kind of politically incorrect group or cultnot literal

, before driving into a few at the front, injuring them.

At this point, this chubby white lower-to-middle-aged guy gets angry (I think he was a PE teacher) at the driver. He sues her, and that lead to the passengers and the remaining PE students forming two teams, corresponding to who we thought was innocent. There was a small group (I think they were mostly black women) that instead elected to not fight at all. I was in theory on the driver's side, (even though she just ran over a couple of people for blocking her way) but I actually just wanted to kill everyone in the room except for the people who said they weren't fighting. I had a bar stool to melee people with, whereas no-one else did, for some reason. I think I managed to smuggle it in as part of my luggage.

Alright, here's my most recent weird-ass dream:

It kinda started off on a boat, I guess. Champ and Garu from Uchu Sentai Kryuranger were there, so I just assumed I was in that show. Anyway, someone walked down a ladder like it was a set of stairs, and then I suppose I went back to the "real world".

After running away for reasons I won't specify, I found that a man had been injured on the road. A woman helped him up, and in return he asked for her walet. She gladly obliged, so I just... immediately exposed him as a con artist and threw him off a bridge. He remained alive, holding onto the edge, but then I found myself at the show's YouTube page. Because of course that whole secnario was part of a TV show.

I have no clue why so many of my dreams involve entering media such as TV and video games.
