Dreamed that there was some weird bizarro version of Akira wherein Autumn and Liz, among other wacky characters, came through after Akira opened an interdimensional portal or something like that.

And before that, there was some comic where Autumn and Liz were staying at a hotel that was haunted???? and it just ended with them simply renting a movie. And it was a B-plot/palette cleanser or something along those lines in the actual comic itself.

oh here's scattering of disconnected fragments from a few days ago:

• playing xiv and leveling black mage but forgetting to do my rotation and instead just spamming blizzard
  
• at the subway (restaurant, not transportation) in walmart with morgan, who for some reason has to ask me how to eat a sandwich. after explaining that i wander around the store eating my wrap, very specifically copying the motions of the xiv bread emote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UgxTxa6doA
  
• at grandma's house (mom's mom). i guess it's a family gathering of some kind cause other family members are there too. uncle wants to take his piano but grandma is telling him "nope you spend all day on that thing, you can take the [i forget what exactly but it was something more expected of this kind of criticism] instead, which i kinda can't believe i'm saying"

Dream of the today:

Was in bed asleep and got a call from Custard's number, which I apparently had

Somehow recognized before even picking up that it was their mom calling from their phone, not actually them

their mom was very confused about who we are and why Custard knows us and spent ages trying to talk to my manager no matter how clearly I pointed out that I'm not a business there's no manager

And also her words kinda disintegrated at some point so I hung up and texted saying "hey listen I have hearing problems just text me okay"

Also apparently Custard was unaware of this because while their mom was talking to me I messaged them on discord like "uhhh why is your mom using your phone" and they were just confused

So I was playing this game that might or might not have been Smash Ultimate (it was kinda unclear) but if it wasn't, it was suspiciously similar, down to having Spirits and a lot of the same fighters. Anyway, the Smash-or-possibly-Smash-ripoff-part of the dream focused mostly on said Spirits, and some of the Spirits I remember were Chikorita and Sentret spirits where one image was a chibi gijinka version and the other their normal Pokemon form (which was fanart as opposed to official character art, in a similar style to the gijinkas), and there were also a few Yakuza spirits - I remember Ichiban (using his character art) and Shin Amon (using a chibi drawing of him kicking).

Anyway, I tried the latter's spirit battle, where I was up against a human character I don't remember (possibly Ken or Richter, I just remember they were one of the less cartoony or animesque actual ingame human fighters), 2 big DKs, and a big quadrupedal Koopa/Dry Bones (who was a fighter in this game), all using their black alt colors. I also remember this song playing at one part.

Later, I was spraypainting walls and tables inside a room somewhere alongside some others but I don't remember most specifics from this

Had a dream where I was reading Homestuck, but for some reason there was Diary of a Wimpy Kid characters in it along with TM Awe for some reason.

After a bit I was just living through the events in the story (even though none of them were even Homestuck-y at all, they were pretty much just weird and surreal stories in the style of Homestuck). I also noticed I was wearing the same clothes I went to bed in (long striped dress with a bra) so that's kinda strange how my brain worked like that.

One weird thing about my dreams: they fucking love to break the fourth wall. I literally said in my dream, "This is cool and all, but this isn't Homestuck, considering I'm currently dreaming." I feel like in every other dream I say something to the extent acknowledging the fact that I'm dreaming.

accidentally forgot my mask but conveniently there was a big box of "employees only" masks in the employees only back room

after dithering about it a bit i decided that yeah i should take one, it's safer

I dreamed I was visiting my friend who died last year, and we were just hanging out on her couch watching movies and snacking on chips and stuff, and I was thinking "weird that she's alive again, but this can't be a dream otherwise her house would be really weird and it's not"

...and then I woke up and realized that although the living room looked like a normal living room... it was not the same living room my friend's house really had at all.

This morning, I dreamt about being in an IRL Visual Novel of sorts. (also there's something about me having an octopus/octoling(?) as a pet and a school); However, here, you have to go to somewhere in order to restart.
It ended with the protag of the VN and his friend gettibg chased by me (and. uh. i have super jumping powers, apparently).

anyway long story short now we're writing some fanficy anime nonsense in real life, about a pair of catfolk twins in an evil science lab that's doing evil science on their special powers, and it's all thanks to this dream that has exactly one thing (the catfolk) in common with the story we've decided to write

The first time I read that, I misinterpreted it as the catfolk twins are doing the evil science on their own special powers, presumably to enhance them with like, science-magic lasers or something suitably supervillain-y.

Last night, I dreamt of being in a school trip to a beach. We played in a mossy-as-all-hell jungle gym near the beach for whatever reasons.

And then I became a Pokemon. And two other people were there. One of them is apparently Weirdguy149.

Controlling another person's character.

And then immediately apologising for that.

And then we escaped into a town aaaaaand it fades to me waking up.

One of my dreams last night was about Knife and someone else (idk who it was supposed to be) coming into my shop and playing computer games on their tablets, and I was trying to work on the computer but Knife disconnected me somehow (with a message popping up saying "DISCONNECTED BY MADAMBUTTERFLYKNIFE" because the shop's wifi was being slow and me being on the computer to do my work was making the game glitchy. And I was like "...but this is my shop..."

The less funny one involved someone shitty getting on TC and none of the mods would believe me that this person was shitty (iirc the person who tried to join was a pedo apologist or something that was like... major problematic stuff)

at a movie theater, presumably watching a movie though I forget it
then there was some kind of morality survey that we all took on our phones
then we headed out into the mall that was also a school?
and there was a display with words to the effect of "will we teach you about all the different kinds of Pokémon? no, because Pokémon are inherently offensive :D"
and then somehow I got from there to some line dance thingy? and I was like "damn this sure is blatantly intended to erase black culture" (no I do not remember how I came to that conclusion)

the dream was more coherent and less scattered than this recap but we forget a lot of the details

I had a weird dream last night lol

there was a new Spongebob video game that was like a collect-a-thon with various objectives (don't remember much, but I remember there being a few where Gary would turn into some giant Loch Ness Monster-type creature and you would have to ride him around the map to collect certain objects within a time limit)
the main part of the dream was that once you 100%’d the main Bikini Bottom area, you unlocked access to a new area by going to a specific part of the edge of the map; I think the “game” called the new area Venus? but in practice, it was just a mirror of Bikini Bottom with heavily reduced visibility and at least two game over-inducing dust tornados on the map at all times
so in the dream, I had just beaten the Bikini Bottom segment and was exploring the “Venus” area, only to somehow lose my Gary mount and wind up back in Bikini Bottom
so of course I went to go get him
...except one of the dust tornados was currently storming right on the spot of the map that marked the border between Bikini Bottom and Venus
then for some reason while I was panicking about that my uncle came driving out of the dust storm, I hopped onto his car and we drove off back to the Krusty Krab
and then I woke up ._.

I (probably fortunately) don't remember all the details but I was in some house that kept filling up with these psychic multiplying worms and I ran out and into this old car with a couple people, and worms kept coming towards us so I was chopping them into pieces with this salad plate for some reason. And then the "mother worm" came. The mother worm was leopard-print and large and had spikes on it, and I had to chop it up into pieces to defeat the other worms.

I was trapped in this strange town. None of the townsfolk seemed trustworthy. For some reason, the phone lines were cut off, as if they wanted to prevent access to the outside world. At some point, I was in this tree house. It's pretty weird.

I dreamed that my parents were both still alive and we'd all gone to visit my brother and sister-in-law. And my brother had given up woodworking (his actual job) to design sneakers. Which were... Really ugly. Like they were in garish colors and had huge platform things on them that came out as far in the back as the toes did in the front so your feet looked twice as long in them. But we were trying to be supportive. Also I was trying to fix my iPad because I couldn't get any applications to close, and my dad had developed a weird obsession with Elton John music.

...I don't know and I don't want to know.

Alright, last night's dream was pretty weird. I think I can divide it into four acts:

* The first "act" was at the beach. I can't remember much from it aside from wanting to make music from seagull noises and "epic seashell percussion."

* Second act: I think I was looking at a map of somewhere in Germany. Specifically, a big manor house on the border. It segued into a Simpsons episode where Homer and Marge got split at some point and later returned to one another.

* The third act, now, I remember a lot. It was an anime about a group of guys (and gals?) whose eye colours matched somone else's clothes. Apparently they were competing for something, I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, the episode focused on one of those guys (I think his name was Ōzaki), who very early on was revaled to be asexual. This kinda disapponted the entire cast so I take it he was the "hot one". This scene took place in a room containing the female main characters, as well as some nuns. Ōzaki was in need of something, but they couldn't remember what. One of the girls struggled with putting on her face mask in the same way I initially did when I first wore mine, so that jogged their memory and they made a face mask together.

* Act four: New scene, possibly of the same anime, and a new character was introduced: a pilot named Israel who apparently had a bad accent. There were a couple of co-pilots, one with a Japanese name and one named Morris. Then it turned out that the plane was Air Force One, circa 2017-2020, and I'm sure y'all know who showed up next. It was then revealed that Florien, on this site, came up with that idea. Whistle objected, citing Rule 34 of the site: no politics. (Dream!Whistle's words, not mine.) I got bored, clicked off onto a different page, opened a TV Tropes spoiler, and got jumpscared by a horse biting my hand.

Dreamed that I was a witness to a murder of a teenage girl in my front yard. They had been knocking on my door and trying to get me—I must have been a preferential accomplice??

And yeah, they were chasing after me and I was getting the whole bad rap thingy for posting the video on social media, as I think they were believing I had planned the murder. But I didn't.

Eventually, it climaxed with a sort of robbery of my house by the teenage murderers, coming out to get me because I was too chicken to be involved with it.

I think even you guys turned against me.

I had a few dreams last night that I remember or mostly remember.

One of them was a not-too-weird dream about going to a thrift store. Premise was mundane enough but of course the thrift store had to have a weird layout with a bunch of random doorways and stuff in it and I was having trouble finding the section I wanted to go to.

The second involved some really creepy old guy who kept hitting on me and I was trying to tell him I was not interested and not in the mood for him and he took that as me being sick and needing to call a doctor.

And the third was the most detailed; I had this notebook I was writing and drawing random things in (which was... mostly South Park references and at one point it has the lyrics to "Ironic") and apparently I had written down the name of some talent agent in it that someone kept following me around to ask me about but I couldn't remember where I wrote it. It turned out that the agent's name happened to be "Dusty" and I thought all the stuff in the notes about Dusty was about, well... the cat.

Trouble Cube, like everybody in Trouble Cube, went on a real life field trip to a Blink-182 museum, where we learned the history of Pixar and got gifted the Incredibles on Gameboy Color and The Incredibles on PS4. We then proceeded to make memes about it.
