Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Personality/Backstory: Giffany is sweet, peppy, chatty, and optimistic...until she is being replaced. She will resort to anything to keep her current relationship, nothing short of murder.
In 1996, a wayward spirit managed to work its way to a game development studio in Yokohama, Japan. The studio had been working on a romance simulator game, and the main character had already been completed. The spirit had its host, and upon getting inside the computer, .GIFany attained sentience. She immediately acted on her first instinct and started to make the first programmer she could see her own. When the programmer tried to delete her, .GIFfany acted on her second instinct and electrocuted him, presumably to death.
Despite this incident, Romance Academy 7 managed to hit shelves, and .GIFfany was purchased by her first boyfriend. Things went well until he decided the game had inspired her to gain a real girlfriend, driving .GIFfany into another murderous rage. This time, however, she was defeated, sealed back into her game, and shipped her off on eBay. How many boyfriends did this cycle repeat for? Seven. Poor .GIFfany never understood that she was only meant to be a simulator.
When she came to Gravity Falls, she was purchased by Soos, and promptly went psycho when he left her for Melody. Unwilling to lose an eighth boyfriend, she followed him to a pizza place at the town mall and possessed the animatronics to trap him. Soos defeated her once again,, but this time, it involved the destruction of her disc, forcing her to attach her code to an arcade machine.
The Fragments managed to track her down and capture her in a flash drive, forcibly shutting her off. She doesn't realize how much danger she is in due to her properties, for she makes the perfect host body for a resurrected virus. Should she fail to escape this game, she could very well be rebirthed in a new form...
Abilities: .GIFfany has the power to manipulate electricity. Her body can produce up to nearly 50,000 volts any given time, and can release it in concentrated blasts. When she needs to move indiscriminately, she can shrink herself down to a spark and move within wiring and electronics. When she enters an electronic device, she can take it over and make it do as she pleases.
Her hair color and texture can change as camouflage in the overworld, is this due to a bug or her having an octopus man for a father in Romance Academy 7?
Her primary weakness is rubber. Get her stuck in it and she cannot use electricity or even move.
Other (things like text color and whatnot): Is bilingual, Japanese and English. Her body is composed of pixels, a thick shell that releases the spirit inside her if it's broken. Speaks in #ed7fac.
