See ya.” [The Hoopa tosses a ring into the air and disappears into the resulting portal, which fades away soon after so that no one could potentially follow him to an off-limits area.]

[Anyone who's still in the Central section would see Ringtoss slowly backing out of another ring portal with an absolutely shook expression, as though he encountered something frightening within the confines of hyperspace.]

[The only thing you can find is a series of ring portals surrounding the barrier of the forest. Entering one seems to warp you back to the center.]

She noticed the ring portal.

I shake my head with a sigh.

"Were you not listening to our captor's opening speech? He has surrounded this forest with ring portals. Any attempt to leave will merely see you transported right back to the heart of his domain..."

"Wait, ring portals! Let's go check them out!"

Addie grabs Sue by the hand and runs through a bunch of ring portals.

"Wooooooooooah! This is amazing!"

Sue, however, looks completely dazed, and vomits on the ground once Addie is finished.

"...Oh, sorry, Sue. I didn't..."

"It's fine, Addie." Sue gives Addie a hug.

Squirt, scared about being in an unknown place where nobody noticed him, ran off the the edge of the forest where he found the portals.

He goes through one....and winds up back at the center.

“Darn it...I...I just want to go home.”
