This challenge may or may not be brought to you by Timeline Master Ozzy.
Time Vortex Challenge
...Uh oh, somebody's turned the campground and surrounding areas into a time loop! You need to get out of it.
- Figure out a way to alert the others that a time loop is going on so you can get their help.
- You have plenty of time, and the cooperation of the others, now. Figure out how to coordinate to find out what's causing the time loop - and who put it into place.
- You've found a mysterious artifact that seems to be causing the loop! If you smash the object, you'll break the time loop, but forget everything about it. Before you break the time loop, figure out a way to keep the information that you've learned when you exit the time loop.
You have 72 hours to submit your challenge.

AdriannannairdA1. Figure out a way to alert the others that a time loop is going on so you can get their help.
Adrianna glues something big and heavy to the ground outside her cabin. If that doesn't work, she'll simply try to persuade the people that it's true.
2. You have plenty of time, and the cooperation of the others, now. Figure out how to coordinate to find out what's causing the time loop - and who put it into place.
Adrianna gets everyone to split up and search different areas. If phones/similar are available, they can simply contact one another during the search. If not, she arranges meet-ups at a certain place every so often.
3. You've found a mysterious artifact that seems to be causing the loop! If you smash the object, you'll break the time loop, but forget everything about it. Before you break the time loop, figure out a way to keep the information that you've learned when you exit the time loop.
Adrianna simply writes some notes to herself. If there's sticky notes, she puts one on her forehead, saying "What's in its pocketses?".
What else needs saying?
TRIPLE STAR
That's what you are.

A time loop? Not again!
1: Well, the best way to tell everyone you know about a time loop is to tell them the future! Look at the weather, make note of incidents throughout the day, and at the beginning of the next loop, tell people about it!
2: We'll methodically search the whole area! And, when the day draws to a close, tell me what you saw, and we'll look somewhere else the next day, with my knowlege of what had/will pass(ed)!
3: I'm sure someone will know. Alas, as a normal human, I have no contacts or otherworldly technology. So I'll just have to hope!
hey who turned out the lights?

Adrianna has rolled a 9 on the first task, a 6 on the second task, and a 5 on the third task. This leaves her with a total of 20 points.
Wouldn't that re-set every time the loop restarts or... ugh, let's not hurt our minds, either way, Adrianna's powers of persuasion are definitely up to the task.
Ah, spit up and search the area systematically! You know what, that works pretty well, too. They do find the mysterious object.
...Adrianna's forehead note mostly just gives her the urge to read The Hobbit for the umpteenth time, though, and she doesn't remember the notes in her actual pocket before she washes her pants. At least some of them are still legible afterwards.

Jimothy's idea works really well, actually! If there are things you couldn't have predicted beforehand, well, something's surely going on, right? (...Not like Jimothy himself has access to sci-fi level technology that would allow him to make uncanny predictions normally, right?)
Serial searching works pretty well, too! You'll eventually find what you're looking for, and with many eyes on the same area it makes sure someone isn't overlooking something.
...Yeah, though, hope is important, but it's not going to work in this case. Too bad Jimothy doesn't have any advanced knowledge or technology that could help, huh?

*(bitter time-loop stuck wyvern grumbling)*1. On the first few iterations of the loop, scout the area through flight. Look for any incidents that you can easily point to and say "look, that's the Thing that i told you will happen". When will it rain? What will the clouds look like? Look for stuff that's too specific to reliably predict... if you weren't in a time loop, of course. Then, start telling people about these things in the beginning of these loops.
2. You have flight, and so you can look over larger, open areas. Indoors or closed in stuff can be handled by other people who will methodically search through them, in groups. Hopefully, with this split, you can ease the workload on each loop it takes to figure this out.
3. Habits are pretty strong once they get going, and this has been going on for a while. So... aha! She puts in her notes in her goggles. Even if the artifact's destruction breaks this particular, daily flying habit, she's certain she'll fly again eventually, so putting the notes in her goggles, which she puts on every time she flies, will make them practically unavoidable.

Uh-oh!- Oh no! Perhaps Kirby could tell the others about their situation. If that doesn't work, Kirby could look around for things that happened, like the weather, cloud formation, incidents by other people, and memorize it. Once the loop happens, Kirby could "predict" those events. That just might get people to believe him.
- Kirby can have the others split up to look for the source, and then search the area by flying on his Warp Star. If it loops again, Kirby will try to memorize the places he's gone and tell the others to do the same.
- Kirby can write, or draw, what information he has learned during the loops on pieces of paper. Then, he'll keep them.

You fly around for a couple loops and spot some things. People don't believe you immediately, but you find something after a while that nobody could predict, now you've got their attention! (Rolled 5 +1 for flight skills for a total of 6.)

You do well at your flight-scouting, however the others you've enlisted are having trouble looking. You do find it eventually though. (Rolled 4 +1 for flight skills for a total of 5.)

Habits are hard to break and putting the notes in your goggles is a good idea... too bad wyvern wings make for writing you can't read when you find them. Whoops! (Rolled 2 +1 for persistence for a total of 3.)

It takes a few tries to find something that would be hard enough to predict and convince people, but at least Kirby has enough time to work on it, and manages to convince people after a while. (Rolled 6.)

Hmmm, Kirby's flying around well but has a bit of trouble telling people what's been checked and what hasn't, so it takes a good number of loops to find the artifact. (Rolled 2 +1 for using the Warp Star for a total of 3.)

Writing things down works... well, Kirby has a bit of trouble remembering what the notes are supposed to mean, but he's got them. (Rolled 3.)

A simple plan, but an effective one. Zee have no trouble finding enough hard-to-predict things they can use to convince people. (Rolled 10.)

The holograms provide the others with a lot better idea on where to search than just telling them would. There's a slight bit of difficulty understanding at first but the fact that there's visuals lead to the artifact being recovered pretty easily. (Rolled 7 +1 for holograms for a total of 8.)

Zee have a bit of trouble finding a notepad, having to settle for a couple sheets of loose-leaf paper. They are able to write down quite a bit but sadly don't have room to write everything from the later loops. (Rolled 3 +1 for attention to details for a total of 4.)

Bunyan in Time Loop Shenagains1. Figure out a way to alert the others that a time loop is going on so you can get their help.
Bunyan, after going through the time loop several times, ends up finishing other people's sentences in the exact diction that they were going to use and asks them if certain things are causing them deja vu.
2. You have plenty of time, and the cooperation of the others, now. Figure out how to coordinate to find out what's causing the time loop - and who put it into place.
Bunyan and her companions split into two groups. Bunyan in particular goes into her spirital body so that she can cover more ground easier and search for the cause of the loop.
3. You've found a mysterious artifact that seems to be causing the loop! If you smash the object, you'll break the time loop, but forget everything about it. Before you break the time loop, figure out a way to keep the information that you've learned when you exit the time loop.
Bunyan writes down everything she has learned during the time loop into several diaries, cut down several trees and have Babe bury the diaries near the stumps, so when she spots the stumps, she'll know that's where the diaries are located.

Bunyan has rolled a 3 on the first task, a 4+1 on the second task for use of spirital body form, and 7+2 on the third task for use of lumberjacking and her bond with Babe. This leaves her with 17 points.
People are a bit skeptical of Bunyan when she starts finishing their sentences. Is she not saying things right? She only wins them over after some time.
Splitting up to search is a good idea, and Bunyan can cover more ground in her spirital form. Is anyone tracking what areas have been searched and which haven't? Maybe persuading people to help is taking up a lot of her time each loop? It really does take a while to find the object in question.
Apparently her first thought on seeing downed trees is indeed 'Oh, I must've buried something under them!', though. She finds the diaries she has buried rather quickly.

"Am I just imaginin' things, or is time... repeating?"
"Yes. You're not imagining things."
"Am I just imaginin' things, or is time... OK, first we doom an inncoent and now this? Come on, universe!"
"Deep breaths, Anya." Eki is becoming more stressed with every loop. "I'm... trying my best not to panic right now. But the desire to do so is overwhelming..."
"We should do something about it!"
"That's... uh... obvious, but it's the logical thing to do."
Time loops are the worse. This is an understatement.
OH GODS MAKE THIS STOP PLEASE
- Using the power of OBSERVATION, Eki will jot down every little thing that happens during the time loop in their notes, making sure to write down the exact time they occur. Eki and Anya will then go around town and tell people when future events will happen. Things that would be too hard to predict without a time loop.
"A squirrel will fall off that tree in one minute and twenty-seven seconds.
"Did ya know that your stove will catch on fire in seven seconds? Might want to stop greasin' it if I were you!"
Once these events occur, hopefully people will get a sense of deja vu and realize they're in a time loop.
- It's time to divide and conquer. Eki and Anya will grab a map from the museum, and with a pen, divide it into several numbered areas. They'll assign each person a number and have them search the corresponding area for whatever artifact's causing this. While everyone else is searching on the ground, Eki and Anya will use their skysails to look from above and cover a broader area. They'll float back down periodically to assist the search teams.
- Simple. Eki will just mark their notes on the time loop with a bookmark "borrowed" from Grunkle Ed, and stow away their notebook in their bag. Next time they take notes, they'll see the bookmark and turn to their observations on whatever in the Vortex they just experienced, but can't remember.

Eki and Anya have rolled an 8+1 on the first task for good observational skills, a 6+1 on the second for skysailing prowess, and a 10 on the third. This gives them an impressive total of 26 points.
Eki's keen observations are indeed very useful at getting people to believe something weird like a time loop is happening. It's just way too coincidental if it wasn't true.
The organized, divide and conquer approach is likewise successful at fairly quickly finding the source of the disturbance. Especially with their skysails allowing them to coordinate the search and look from above!
Finally, a bookmark in Eki's notes is simple, but also highly effective. Surely she'll use the notebook again, and see that she marked a section with a bookmark she doesn't remember placing...

1. Hmmmm...For the first couple of time loops, Victoria looks to see the outskirts of where the loop is happening. Is it around the world, or is it just within the small town?:
It's around the world: She looks for certain mannerisms in people, and tells others exactly how they will act before they do.
It's just within the town: She programs a video camera to catch an interaction of people, then goes to the outskirts and leaves the camera there. On the next time loop, she picks up the camera, brings it back to the people, and then shows them video of them doing things they haven't done yet. That should convince them.
2. If there is an outer limit to the time loop, then have most of everyone search without that space the loop is happing in, with one person walking around the outskirts to see if there is anything there. On every reoccurring loop, everyone switches where they are looking through.
3. She records the final loop on her video camera, then sends it online and privately uploads it to a video sharing site. Once that's done, she smashes the object for good.

The camera was a good idea, but Victoria has a really hard time finding the edge of the loop... or really I should say, has a hard time trying to see outside of the town, for some reason. So she wastes several loops on this before going back to the original "I can predict what you're going to do" plan, which manages to convince a couple of people. (Rolled 1 +1 for smarts for a total of 2.)

Remembering where people had looked and switching it up works a lot better though, and Victoria manages to find the artifact after a few tries. (Rolled 7 +1 for smarts for a total of 8.)

Well, Victoria has the video on her camera, but uploading it doesn't go very well; it seems the Internet around here is pretty spotty. Grunkle Ed probably didn't want to pay for the fast stuff. (Rolled 2 +1 for smarts for a total of 3.)

You have plenty of time, and the cooperation of the others, now. Figure out how to coordinate to find out what's causing the time loop - and who put it into place.
Lucky is not very smart... but the humans are. Once they catch on to the existence of the loop, they can propose their ideas and thoughts... and Lucky can bite them when they suggest something they've disproven in a previous loop. Not too hard. Just to get the point across. Once they realize what he's doing, he can also purrmeow approvingly when they say correct things. He'll go through the loop as many times as he has to to get them to put it all together.
You've found a mysterious artifact that seems to be causing the loop! If you smash the object, you'll break the time loop, but forget everything about it. Before you break the time loop, figure out a way to keep the information that you've learned when you exit the time loop.
Humans outsource their memories to the funny square leafs all the time, surely this will do it! Bring the humans lots of paper so they can write everything down.

Lucky has rolled 7+1 for cuteness (as an aid to getting people's attention) on the first task, a 2 on the second task, and a 9 on the third task. This gives him a score of 19.
Lucky's meowing (and cuteness) is very effective at getting people's attention. People are confused at what he's meowing at, but eventually running around the clock makes them think in the right direction.
...The humans don't seem to be following Lucky's lead in the search, though, or proposing excellent ideas to find whatever is causing the problem. It takes a disturbingly large number of iterations to find the artifact. Hope it's a day with a lot of sun to sunbathe in.
The humans are much better at figuring out what to do with the paper Lucky brings them, though. Lucky takes the paper just outside the loop before POUNCEing on the artifact, well done :3

I... could... put circles around the house. Or make them watch Arrival or something every night. Or... just outright tell people that they're in a time loop, maybe make something weird every day so people will get it. Put a circle on my forehead, I don't really know.
Using a code phrase—perhaps, like, "Abbott and Costello," I might try to do a thing where it might take the people into the loop, then we can discuss the plans or the source, and whatever I find the last night might have to be subtly confirmed or denied. Or if no one believes me I can carry something on my person or in my body for the next loop.
If I can keep a list in my mouth before I smash the loop, maybe I can let it out of my mouth and read the list of what is necessary. Or maybe tattoo it on my hand or inside my glove or whatnot—unless that smears... I need to get something! SOMETHING!

People seem pretty confused as to why you're drawing circles everywhere. They seem to think it's some sort of performance art. Telling them directly only works slightly better, but after quite a lot of loops you do manage to convince a couple of people. (Rolled 2.)

Repeating (heh) a catch phrase and getting others to repeat it too helps more than you'd expect, and now you've got those couple of people you convinced earlier remembering the loops too. This makes finding the artifact a lot easier. (Rolled 9.)

Trying to keep a list in your mouth just makes the ink runny, but writing it on your hand is a bit more legible and you at least remember some of the details. Your good memory helps fill in the blanks, too. (Rolled 3 +1 for good memory for a total of 4.)
