It's creepy enough, but, like, ordinary creepy.
And yes, there is a lot of info about the place. An exhibit on Native Americans who used to live in the area. Pioneer families. Adventure tourism. An exhibit on missing persons, as previously noted. Even an archive area.

Eki and Anya look through the museum, slightly disappointed. It's just some tourist trap-y place that has some interesting bits about old world history, but nothing really noteworthy. Until they reach the part talking about missing people.

"Um. W-Why would you need an exhibit on missing people?"

"Probably to amp up the spookiness factor! But yeah, you're right. With the anomaly and everything, something is very wrong with this town! But what could it be? It's a mystery!"

"I know, Anya. I know."

Eventually, they reach the archive.

"Archives! I wonder what they got for us to read? I bet'cha it'll help up solve this mystery!"

"It wouldn't hurt to look."

"Well, that's oddly specific. How long has it been since the last one?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out!" Anya says, as she looks up from a book. She's studying intensely.

Eki's scribbling down a lot of words. "So far, we know that the mass disappearance events, or the MDEs, occur every 15 years. T-That seems too specific to be coincidental, so that suggests the disappearances are deliberate. Uh... we still need to determine when the events began."

Yeah, that's... it's been fifteen years since the last one, yeah.

The first? Hmm, hard to tell, but there seem to be records of it in Native American oral history. A long time.

Victoria walks over to the museum and looks at the exhibits.

Eki and Anya look at each other with expressions of fear.

"Uh... this is concerning. This is really concerning. I-If Ed apparently knows about this, then why is he inviting people to this camp?"

"Yeah, this all not right. Maybe we can ask him!"

"I doubt he's going to provide a useful answer, but we can try."

As you surmise, Ed isn't all that interested in talking about it. It's a rural area, disappearances happen, people run away to the city without telling anybody!

The townsfolk are a bit more helpful; you find out that there was a tour group that went for a hike in the woods and never came back. Most of the people you ask

don't remember their names and tell you there's a list at the museumit's not relevant anyway

, but one kind of creepy guy tells you there was a whole cover-up regarding it.

After their meal, Zee head to the museum. They'd seen some of the others going there, and think maybe they'll join in on the investigation.

Then, something - or rather, someone - drops down.

"aaaaaaAAAAAAAAH! Owww... Aw man, this again?" A girl with purple hair looks around her.

Gooble then transforms int his boy form, greeting the newcomer.

"Hello, there! I'm Gooble! Who are you?"
