Xue looks to the threat, mustering something up in herself.

1. A pack of wolves surround you, looking to pounce. Find a way to evade them or even fight them off if you're brave enough.

Xue remembers some of the fish that she has. She throws the fish away from her and Larson, hoping that it will lure them away from those two. If it doesn't, well, she's prepared. She looks at Larson, and orders. "Infernal Parade. Take those beasts out!" Once that's done, she puts Larson back in that Pokeball. Keep him as safe as possible.

2. Look out! A giant eagle (or two eagles if you're part of a duo) has just grabbed you. And now you find yourself very high up in the air. Free yourself from its grasp and try to get to the ground safely.

Xue's had some experience doing parkour. She attempts to sway herself, until she's able to spin her body up to a point where she can manage to kick the eagle. Once it drops her, she prepares to break her fall, She attempts to grab any branches that come her way, relaxes her body, and lands feet first, into a roll while protecting her head.

3. If those weren't bad enough, now a giant bear is looking to tear you apart. Again, same as the wolves, avoid it or fight back.

Xue plays dead; she's read somewhere that that's what you do when a bear comes at you. She summons all her energy into trying to appear dead, and not a threat to the bear. She's just made a big fall; it'll probably work. And if the bear still tries to attack a supposedly dead body, she'll hit it in the fucking nuts. Bears have nuts. They're mammals. It's fucking foolproof.

1. Nothing here goes right for you. They don't want the fish. They want something more substantial. And as they eye you, you quickly pull out Larson. But before he can go on the attack, they all leap at him, chewing and cutting him up. All you can do is fight through them and get your pet back before you both escape. Both of you hurt badly. (Rolled 2)

2. The eagle is not so easily phased by you. It's persistent, coming after you as you try to get into a position to be able to kick it. Thankfully, your parkour skills are on par and you managed to kick the shit out of it and manage to break your fall with no issues. (Rolled 5 and 1+ for parkour skills for 6)

3. You attempt to play dead with the bear. But the animal's not so fooled. It looks like it's about to eat you. And as a last resort, you try to give it a nice kick to the nuts. But you miss and hit the leg instead. Now you made the bear mad and it wrestles with you before you manage to escape, again with more scrapes. (Rolled 4 and 1- for violent tendencies for 3)

The second you pull out the sword, it slips out of your hand and flies past Quinarva. It flies past her with no harm done to her.

You get way too trigger-happy with your crossbow. You completely fill her with arrows, turning her into a pincushion. And she slumps over. Looks like you killed her. But then her body rises back up and all the arrows fall out of her and her rabies is cured. Quinarva has been resurrected.

Quinarva rose up, panting. The last thing she remembered before blacking out was rushing, snarling, and trying to gut. She still tasted blood on her teeth. Animal blood.

"...What just happened? I lost control of everything about myself..." She hugged herself and rocked. "My gods, I never wanted to know what rabies felt like."

That's some rapid onset rabies. Normally it takes days of dehydration and brain and nerve damage due to inflammation before it gets that bad.
