"I think we should stop with the talk about time." Bow rubs the back of her ears with her feeler. "If Heeko can somehow transport three people who all hail from different futures to here, then I guess time is mostly irrelevant here."
12-04-2021, 01:35:22 AM
The Pianist t-poses for a frame before dropping back down in default position.
The two sisters get ushered away and the body gets carried over to the vicinity of the other grave. "This is getting bloody and all, but I think we should get on with it now, Heeko. Deal with the threats later after our morale is high. And also, contact some more people than some heli heroes." She seems a bit more energized, this time. Whatever it's for... "I'm sure you won't mind. And, volunteers! Let's get to work." Plan time!?!
(OOC: although you might describe the plan as though you're building the ENTIRE TOWER alone, in canon it'll probably just be a team effort overall. 48 hours!)
12-04-2021, 01:35:46 AM
Dubhe shrugs. "My sense of time's always been a bit weird, so this is all the same to me. Comes with being one of the Septentrione."

The serpent-what. Is that some sorta gang or some shit?
12-04-2021, 03:25:28 AM
"Y'all didn't notice I'm a big-ass alien thing?" Dubhe says playfully to Voi. "Septentrione is my species. There's only a handful of us."
But now, it's plan time. Spamming brute force last time seemed to be less effective than they were hoping it to be, and this time they want to do better. A less lazy plan than last time>First order of business. Those supplies from a while ago. Transport them to the site by the uplink station. "Transport, eh? I know just the guy." Dubhe reaches out into the unknown dimensions and calls upon forces they usually don't bother making contact with. "Come forth, Genma Tam Lin!" With the help of this demon's Phantasm skill, Dubhe plans to just warp all the supplies directly to the target. >Next, set up the scaffolding. This is relatively simple, but you also need to find a way to keep the bottom foundation firm in the snow. "A firm foundation? I know who can handle that. I summon you, Kishin Ubelluris!" The Kishin skill Double Up doesn't seem obviously relevant to construction... more likely Dubhe summoned it because it's a freakin dude made of freakin rock. >Now you have the scaffolding up, how do we get the building materials hoisted? "Easy. I call upon Avian Moh Shuvuu!" The winged humanoid should have no problem carrying the materials where they need to go. >This is the actual tower's function: the wiring and motherboard and stuff. Keep it safe. Now, the wires are also going to get shaken. Perhaps some assistance for it is necessary. Dubhe ponders this one for a good long while. "I got it. This may not make sense immediately, but trust me, they're the perfect choice. Appear, Ghost Poltergeist!" It seems Dubhe intends to have Poltergeist use its telekinetic powers to handle the wires without needing to risk physical contact. >Now, clean it all up. This means the scaffold and whatever leftover supplies. If it weren't for the snow piling on during building, you could probably kick the scaffold from the bottom. Dubhe slowly grins manically. "My turn my turn my turn!" It reverts to ice cream form and melts(/blasts) the snow away with Binary Fire, then when that's done, it calls the four demons it summoned one more time to cart everything away.

"Finally!" Bow grins. After spending days doing nothing more than glorfied janitorial work, she's finally starting work on constructing the telecommunications hub. The finish line is now faintly visible, even if is still ways away.
"OK, 1... 2... 3... nothing can stop me! Well, as long as I don't fall or hit myself with some steal, but I digress." Construction With a Sylveon (Bow's Plan)1. First order of business. Those supplies from a while ago. Transport them to the site by the uplink station. > "Simple. I'll grab some large dollies and use them to cart the supplies to the construction site. I'll also find some heavy-duty straps to secure the cargo while I'm wheeling it around. I don't want to create a big mess, do I?" 2. Next, set up the scaffolding. This is relatively simple, but you also need to find a way to keep the bottom foundation firm in the snow. > "Hmmm... I use a snow blower and a shovel (or some Quick Attacks if the former two options are unavailable) to clear the snow away from the worksite. Next, I'll try using a drill or shovel to make some holes for the foundations to rest in. After that is setting up the scaffolding itself. I will take this time build a hoist for lifting cargo using some rope, pulleys, a motor, and a platform made out of hammered-together hardwood planks. After that's done... I don't know how useful this will actually be, but maybe I will deploy a safety net or something similar in case something goes very wrong. After all, safety should come first, right?" 3. Now you have the scaffolding up, how do we get the building materials hoisted? > "Well, there's a reason why I built that hoist into the scaffolding. I'll just lift the supplies up a couple at a time using a few straps and some rigging as reinforcement. Falling cargo would be a nightmare to deal with." 4. This is the actual tower's function: the wiring and motherboard and stuff. Keep it safe. Now, the wires are also going to get shaken. Perhaps some assistance for it is necessary. > "Assistance, huh? Well then..." "HEEKO! PIANIST! Can you help me secure the wires while I build my portion of the tower? I'll bake you my signature Super Fluffy Triple Fudge Brownie cookies if you do!" "If they refuse, I'll just braid the wires using some rubber belting and buckle the belting to a support beam." 5. Now, clean it all up. This means the scaffold and whatever leftover supplies. If it weren't for the snow piling on during building, you could probably kick the scaffold from the bottom. "First, I'll stow the leftover supplies away in the armory and bunkers using the same techniques I used to move them out of storage. After that, I'll use a shovel and a series of Quick Attacks to expose the foundations, and then... I WILL MOONBLAST THAT SCAFFOLDING TO OBLIVION! Once the scaffolding collapses, I'll store the remaining parts in the huts for easy accessibility."

Did you fucking expect me to know what it was called, though?! Whatever.
beep boop time to make a towerFirst order of business. Those supplies from a while ago. Transport them to the site by the uplink station. (OOC: this means between the uplink station and the helipad, a bit south.) You got a cart or some shit? Voi's gonna look for one of those. They've only got old tech here, so it's gonna be one with wheels. Put the stuff on the cart and drive it to the area by the uplink station. Might take a while to program it to go there. But if worst came to worst, Voi...somewhat remembered how to drive one of those things manually. Next, set up the scaffolding. This is relatively simple, but you also need to find a way to keep the bottom foundation firm in the snow. Voi's seen buildings being made as Helium City got made taller and taller, reaching to the heavens and what may remain of the stars. She somewhat knew how scaffolding works. First, a bit of terraforming. Shovel the snow and/or melt it away first, and then put the scaffolding up. With like. Tools and hammers and shit. Now you have the scaffolding up, how do we get the building materials hoisted? (tip: this can be built into the scaffold or something, or completely accessory. alternatively you just go into creative mode. Possibilities are endless!) Usually, when Voi saw construction, there were floating platforms and robo-cranes there to help get things up. But since Heeko didn't have any of that here... Voi's gonna yeet that shit up there. Throw it up to the top. She's got an arm and the bare minimum of depth perception. YEET. This is the actual tower's function: the wiring and motherboard and stuff. Keep it safe. Now, the wires are also going to get shaken. Perhaps some assistance for it is necessary. Support the wiring and motherboard by attaching it to the structure of the tower itself. The tower should be stable; if the wires are attached to the structure, then there should be little to no shaking coming from the wind and such. Try and attach some hollow pipes to the frame to insert the wires through for extra protection. Also, add some extra protection using steel plating for the motherboard and such. Voi knew what happened when a motherboard got exposed. ...She. She was not going to think about it. No. Not the time to think about damage or anything like that. Now, clean it all up. This means the scaffold and whatever leftover supplies. If it weren't for the snow piling on during building, you could probably kick the scaffold from the bottom. Get rid of the snow with shovels and snow blowers. Then kick the scaffold from the bottom. HARD.

"Let's do this."
The Plan1.First order of business. Those supplies from a while ago. Transport them to the site by the uplink station. Use a cart, wheelbarrow, or wagon to carry the supplies. 2. Next, set up the scaffolding. This is relatively simple, but you also need to find a way to keep the bottom foundation firm in the snow. First, use a shovel to shovel some of the snow away. Then use tools and materials to set up the scaffolding. 3. Now you have the scaffolding up, how do we get the building materials hoisted? Good thing Nintendo could float! He can fly up to the scaffolds, carrying the materials he need. 4. This is the actual tower's function: the wiring and motherboard and stuff. Keep it safe. Now, the wires are also going to get shaken. Perhaps some assistance for it is necessary. Use a tape, or similar adhesives, to stick the wire together. Use plating to keep the wind or elements from damaging or shaking the wires! 5. Now, clean it all up. This means the scaffold and whatever leftover supplies. If it weren't for the snow piling on during building, you could probably kick the scaffold from the bottom. Nintendo can float around the scaffolding, dismantling it and taking away any supplies on it. And also shovel away some of the snow for an easier time.
Hiiii!

Feels like more of a hassle than what should've been, but hey, it works! ....yeah no, the mythological rock foundation is...kinda fragile. No problem? One problem; Moh deadass went off too fast and a good number of materials dropped mid-air. FUCK. DO it again. Ayyyyyy, the telekinetic wire-sorting works! And the melting and cargoing works! Teleporting supplies is very practical (+3), a scaffold made out of rock is...not, though the method you used is useful in putting the rocks into place (-2), Summoning someone strong enough to do the hauling bidding for you is weird but ok (+2), telekinesis is absolute godsend (+3), Burning is risky but you did use what you used before to help haul the stuff back away (0). The final score is...40 points!!! Very interesting...first person to consume solid objects through liquid methods.

Bow tries not to make a big mess trying to haul cargo challenge (impossible) She just barely manages to clean up the snow, dig up holes, and set up the hoist, though it looks very haphazardly made. Alright, materials successfully hoisted! ...And the hoist collapses on you. Ouch. "Lemme tell you, Bow - I hate brownies." ...that was a fucking disastrous thing Heeko said. Unlikely that Bow will recover from THAT, she completely messes up the wire belting and belt buckling. You hurt yourself slightly exposing the scaffolding, and the Moonblast sends the whole thing nearly crashing down upon you. Geez. At least the hut's obstacle was just a bit slow. Dollies and straps are definitely helpful (+3), and so are the measures taken to properly set up the hoist (+3), Would be helpful for Heeko if you speed it up the hauling, frankly, even if you're doing it safely (+1), pretty crude method of getting the wires there (0), risking harming yourself and performing damage to disassemble the scaffolding? NO! (-3) Bow's final score is 25 points! Very interesting...first person to consume solid objects through liquid methods.

Also, bring some ladders over there too, for a future step. 2. Next, set up the scaffolding. This is relatively simple, but you also need to find a way to keep the bottom foundation firm in the snow. > Melt the snow, obviously! Salt, heat lamps, etc, you've done this a million times already. Get some assistance—either from Heeko and the Pianist or from the remaining participants or both, doesn't matter—and get them to help you first. Now, for the actual thing... The wires need to be secured, right? How about duct tape? That'll keep them in place, right? Duct tape the wires and the motherboard where they need to be, then cover it all up with a lockable metal door in case someone needs to repair it in the future. 5. Now, clean it all up. This means the scaffold and whatever leftover supplies.
