oh my god when I got home and sat down to take off my shoes, Dusty jumped up on my lap for snuggles and started purring at me

I often have dreams about being unable to fall asleep for whatever reason (someone else is there making noise or bothering me being a frequent one) and it always feels so weird when I wake up and realize "oh wait I'm alone and I was actually asleep that whole time" lol
