It seems like all of you can just take an idea for a story and stick with it without saying “actually, I like this better” and scrapping it all. I legit don't know how you do it.

Are you doing creative writing as well?

I often feel like Guma way too much. Why don't I just scrap my screenplay for some new special interest?

I'm saying I don't want to scrap my things, but I find myself doing it a lot.

I also scrap and change. I originally had some weird war story thing now I focused on two favorite characters from it and now that's pretty much not canon to them anymore

You've spent a lot of time on one particular project, while he struggles with maintaining that focus. The whole point of his original comment was that he'd like to be able to stick with one story idea long enough, and that he envies those who can do that. There's no reason for you to be mean about it.

Because I often find myself putting the screenplay to the wayside to pursue some other special interest. I did not intend to be mean or dismissive, and I am sorry that I was that way.

Roleplay is a collaborative story indeed! And I too find that I'm best able to stick with the stories I'm collaborating with someone (or several someones) on. BTB definitely only got as far as it did cause I had a co-writer.
