Can't get into Discord because I'm in “A new login location”.

So I tried to go to my email, I forgot my password, and when I finally got it, they suspended my account for “Fradulent Activity” (Aka trying to remember what my password was by putting it in multiple times).
why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food

Quote:It has been presented that the best odds for a town win is to merely quick eliminate every day having no other discussion. This effectively allows the kingdom to use its size to its advantage without exposing its information. Do not discuss who is scummy or why. Never scum hunt. That way info is zero. Uninformed scum remains uninformed. Then use your size by group voting/eliminating anyone once they get one vote on them. Get every elimination asap! Whilst the assassin(s) can still win with this play, it becomes much more a random coin flip than a calculated decision of who they should blow up.

With this strategy in play, the assassin's best chance of winning is to survive as long as possible to reduce the number of kill choices, however, if they are selected for a elimination at any time, it would be distinctly anti-town to plea their innocence and argue against their elimination, as the optimal town play is to merely eliminate and be eliminated silently without giving out any information at all.

This strategy is difficult to implement, mostly due to the fact that it cannot be discussed without lowering its effectiveness (as discussing its validity puts out information the assassin wants). However, it still allows the town a distinct advantage and turns the game into little more than a lottery.

Do you think one based off of the Rebels in the Palace format is better if I'm aiming more for strategic scumhunting and less randomly lynching?

Good morning!

Dookie, your current avatar is... interesting.
Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?

I am at work. I wish I was at home still hugging Dusty, she was VERY purry this morning.

Also I have to work tomorrow too, normally I have Monday off but the guy who works Mondays is out of town so I will have Friday off instead.

So the Day Of Dusty will have to wait til Tuesday when I can snuggle her all day.

Hey, I'm not complaining.

It's just that when I came to this thread today, I didn't expect to be instantly greeted by that.

I usually use other websites for that purpose.

Ugh why, people. Why do you bring small children into antiques shops.

I mean clearly, it isn't because the children begged their parents to let them see the antiques.

Maybe somewhere there's a kid who genuinely likes being in antique shops, but if I know anything, it's that most kids wouldn't be caught dead in an antique shop.

Yes.

Especially when:

- They do not buy anything. ESPECIALLY when they ask to look in a locked case and don't buy anything, or they touch all the things in the store and don't buy anything.
- They want to buy things that are marked "not for sale" or otherwise unpriced/part of a display.
- They bring small children into the shop. Antiques and small children are not a good combination, especially breakable antiques.
- They want to haggle over price and get mad when you won't sell them something for half off because they think it is too expensive.
- They come in during the last half hour or so and lose track of time.
- Too many of them come in at once and they all want to check out at the same time. Especially when they are all buying cheap little items.

Don't get me wrong, I get some really good customers who I enjoy interacting with.

I just get burnout after a while due to being kinda introverted. Plus, it's retail lol. It's not like I'm spending the day doing something FUN with other people.

Ooh goodie, these people not only had small children but they wanted an unpriced item. (Fortunately, the children were better behaved than the previous one and the item was actually something of MINE that I hadn't had time to price yet, so it wasn't that bad but wow.)

and now for some reason I am remembering the time in Trash Heap like almost a decade ago when my parents first took over the antiques shop and I was just helping out with it rather than owning it... anyway there was this INCREDIBLY BORING WOMAN who would not shut up about: shelves, road signs, some random thing she disliked, mostly stuff that had absolutely nothing to do with our shop.

And I liveblogged her in the Trash Heap thread and referred to her as "Mrs. Yakketyyak".

and that reminds me of the other most annoying custy type: the "I will stand here and tell you my entire life story and YOU BETTER BE LISTENING"

...mind you that has the opportunity to become uh... thingish or something I think, I forgot the details of why that one was a thing but apparently it was.
