Yeah I occasionally watch old horror movies.

Silent movies are interesting to watch.

I know, right? Though they're relatively primitive, I think they're more of a "pure" cinematic experience than movies with sound. Silent movies are entirely a visual experience, while modern ones are audio-visual.

Some great silent horror movies I would recommend are Nosferatu, The Phantom of the Opera and Lon Cheney's The Uncanny.

Nosferatu was good,  though the Reinfield equivalent just kinda... disappeared. I assumed he got beaten to death by the mob offs teen.
